CineTV Contest: Toy Story - A Timeless Classic Friendship Story

Good morning, Cinetv community and film lovers. Today, I will be participating in the Cinetv contest. The fun part about writing this contest was the part where I read in the contest post that says

We played golf, ate some great food, played ping pong, listened to music, and watched some of our favorite movies.

It's been a long time since my friends and I have sat in the same room and watched a movie, but this brought back memories of when we were all still living in the same community, visiting each other's homes, and watching movies. One of the movies we watch that got all of our attention and we spent weeks imitating most of the characters is a movie you should know.

The first time I watched Toy Story was with my friends, and we were all so glued to the TV. Toy Story isn't just an animation for people to just watch and laugh at; it tells a story about the secret life of toys, and this made me and my friends believe so much that our toys move when we are not watching. Daniel will always come up with different stories every day about not meeting his toys where he kept them.

For those who haven't seen it, don't worry about a spoiler; just read it. Toy Story is about a toy cowboy named Woody who becomes jealous when a new toy, Buzz Lightyear, becomes the favorite of their owner, Andy. Now, Buzz didn't know he was just a Toy; he thought he was from outer space, but woody already had the realization that he is a toy. At some point, Woody and Buzz get lost and have to navigate their way back home, learning to work together and become friends along the way. They became so close that my friend and I wanted to be like them. I was Buzz anyway while Daniel was Woody, Buzz had a lot of cool gadgets and he felt like a superhero.

Watching Toy Story with my friends is a special experience, and one I can never forget because we spoke about it for weeks. I would like to watch it with them again, especially Daniel. The movie's about the power of friendship and teamwork, the film is great for kids (and adults!). Make sure you play it for your children when their friends are around.
