"My Hero Academia" Season 7 Review

Good morning, amazing readers, weebs, and anime lovers, as well as every member of the anime realm community. It's a beautiful day, and what's better than talking about anime with people who love it? While searching for a new anime that's not short, but very interesting, I recall an ongoing anime that I remember. Though I had finished reading the manga, probably that's why I wasn't too interested in continuing the anime, even when I was done with the 6th season and the 7th season was out.

I won't keep you in the dark for too long; the anime is a popular one, many people already know. A Gen Z anime

After I had finished watching the 6th season, the 7th season was taking so much time to be released, so I went to read the manga, which I did not regret. When the 7th season was out, I was happy, but I wanted it to come out in bulk so I could enjoy watching it for a long time.

During the weekend, I saw the download reminder, and then I went ahead to download it. Everything to the last episode, and I can tell you it has been a fun ride. I almost forgot some characters, and the joy of seeing what I read come to life was great.

One thing I love about the new season is that the season delivers some truly spectacular fight scenes, just like it was drawn in the manga; it shows the heroes' creative strategies and the villains' formidable powers. I was so surprised to see the death of Star at the beginning of the season, which made me wonder why the character was introduced in the first place.

I love that the season gives us a backstory of the important character; this is something many anime don't do, they just skip that part in the manga and go straight to the fight scene. The backstories and motivations help the viewers understand the characters more and the reason why they fight, whether the villain or hero, and this added depth to the story.

The backstory of the villain "Toga" made me understand why she turned out that way, but that doesn't give her the right to do what she did. I believe if she was handled carefully and with love, she might not have turned out that way, there would have been a better way to restrict her and train her to use her power for the greater good because she was one of the villains who posed one of the biggest threats to the heroes.

Even while the battle was on, we could see characters evolving and pushing past their limit. This was something that wasn't expected but made the show more emotional, even criminals came to help for a good cause. The season brings back fan-favorite characters, including Gentle Criminal and La Brava, and gives them meaningful moments to shine.

The animation quality varies, with some scenes looking incredible and others feeling flat. I love that there was a new graphics but it just felt like it was there for filler but that doesn't stop the story from becoming a good one.

Immediately I am done with this, I will go watch the anime that @seunruth reviewed and recommended yesterday. She wrote it so well, I just want to watch it.

I will give this season an 8/10 and if you haven't watched MHA, give it a try now, and trust me, you will love it.
Thanks for reading. My name is Fashtioluwa.

Reading your thoughts on this new MHA season gave me that manga reader to anime watcher nostalgia. I totally get the joy of seeing a panel you’ve already lived in your head now animated and voiced like your imagination suddenly upgraded to 4K surround sound.

And that part about Toga? I’ve always felt that way too. She’s chaotic, no doubt, but you see the kid she was before the system failed her. It’s wild how anime sometimes does a better job exploring trauma than some serious shows out there. Also, Star's death shocked me too. I was like… so y’all brought her in just to snatch her out like that? 😭 But yeah, the season does feel heavier emotionally, not just flashy fights.

Glad you enjoyed the one I recommended.... makes me want to write another already. Thanks for sharing
