Movie Review: Kick (2014)
I recently watched Kick again, and I must say, the movie still holds up after all these years.
This is not a new movie though as it was released in 2014 and starring Salman Khan, this film is one of those Bollywood that we can say is action-packed entertainers that keeps you hooked from start to finish. Even though it has been more than a decade, it still feels fresh and exciting.
The movie story is centered on a man named Devi Lal Singh, played by Salman Khan. He is not your regular person. Doing things that give him a thrill or what he calls a "kick." is what he loves the most.
He is, bold, full of energy and unpredictable. He keeps switching jobs because he gets bored easily, and his need for excitement makes him do some crazy things.
I really loved how the movie mixes action, comedy, romance, and drama all in one, it really made it interesting. At first, you think it's only about a fun-loving guy who doesn’t take life seriously. But as we good deep into the movie , you will begin to see a deeper side to his character.
The whole story is changed when he does something unexpected ,that was wan the moving became so emotional and inspiring.

For the role he played here , i can say that Salman Khan really did a good job. He has a strong screen presence, and a lot of charm ,charisma and humor were brought to the movie as a result of how well he played the character.
I really loved the action scenes as it was very very exciting to watch.
The way he manages to keep the audience entertained throughout is something i really admire. Jacqueline Fernandez also plays her role well, adding a touch of romance and grace to the movie.
The is another part of the movie i love, they are catchy and fun, especially the title track "Jumme Ki Raat." The dance numbers and background music make the film more enjoyable.
The action scenes were perfectly shot , and did the editing did a very good job as it keeps the movie moving at a good pace.
Although the film has over-the-top moments and some unrealistic scenes, it does not take itself too seriously, which works in its favor. I can say that the movie worth the hype.

In summary , the movie is a film you can enjoy with family or friends. It has action, laughs, emotions, and a positive message. It’s the kind of movie you can watch more than once and still have a good time. If you are a fan of Bollywood movies or Salman Khan, this film is definitely worth watching.
I would give it a solid 8 out of 10. It may not be perfect, but it knows what it wants to be and does it well.
