Hy movie lovers, I hope we all are doing great, so just few days ago, i watched The Pursuit of Happyness , and i felt it more than than I expected.

This movei is a true life story of a man called Chris Gardner, played by Will Smith, a man doing everything he can to give his young son a better life. The thing that stayed with me? How stubborn hope can be, even when life keeps knocking you down.

Chris starts out selling medical devices. Business is bad. Bills pile up. Then his wife leaves, and suddenly it’s just him and his little boy ,played by Jaden Smith , figuring things out on their own. He gets into a stockbroker training program, but it doesn’t pay. No income means things spiral fast. They lose their apartment. Some nights, they end up in shelters. One night, they sleep in a subway bathroom.

That bathroom scene… I can still see it. Chris locks the door, tells his son it’s an adventure, and forces a smile so the boy won’t feel scared. You can almost feel the weight he’s carrying, but he hides it for his child’s sake.

i really love the performance of will Smith, it was top notch. You can see the frustration, the exhaustion, and somehow, the belief that it’ll get better. Jaden does great too ,their real-life bond makes it feel so real you almost forget you’re watching actors.

Not sugarcoat the struggle is one thing that made me love the movie more.

You see rejection after rejection. Long days. Sleepless nights. It’s messy and exhausting, just like real life. That’s why the ending lands so well. When Chris finally gets the job, it’s not just a win it’s a release.

What will I say , this is not just a feel good movie, it is more to that.

​ It’s a reminder. Even when everything falls apart, there’s still a reason to take the next step. And sometimes, that’s all you need.
