Iron man Review (spa/eng)

Nos muestra la historia de Tony Stark, un empresario armamentista multimillonario que no se preocupa por nada realmente, hasta que un día ve de cerca el cómo sus armas son utilizadas y decide hacer un cambio drástico a su vida y ser un hombre mejor.

Está película estrenada hace ya casi veinte años fue lo que sirvió como inicio a lo que hoy conocemos como el UCM, ya habían existido cintas de héroes de Marvel como Spiderman, Los 4 Fantásticos y lo X Men que son de los personajes más populares de la editorial, sin embargo Iron man no era tan conocido fuera de los comics por lo que fue un movimiento bastante temerario adaptar a este héroe en específico. Yo no ví está adaptación en cines sino unos años después en televisión, no sabía nada del personaje así que no sabía que esperar, por lo que cuando la iba viendo me sorprendía más y más.

Se ha vuelto una de mis favoritas junto con otras adaptaciones como el Batman de Nolan, el Spiderman de Sam Raimi y los X Men y Los 4 Fantásticos de Fox. Uno de los grandes puntos a favor fue elegir a Robert Downey Junior para el papel principal, yo sé que se debe elegir a un actor que se vea lo más parecido posible al personaje, pero es que aquí parece que lo sacaron de las viñetas a la vida real, logrando mostrarnos el camino del héroe de alguien vanidoso y egoísta a ser un héroe que lucha por lo que es correcto y busca ayudar al mundo usando sus recursos .

También está Gwynett Paltrow interpretando a Pepper Pots, aunque el personaje no tiene muchos momentos en la película la actriz hace un excelente trabajo haciendo que el público se interese rápidamente en ella y en el fuerte vínculo que comparte con Tony Stark.

Terrence Howards interpreta a James Rhodey Rodes, el amigo más cercano a Stark, también logra ser un personaje interesante tanto por el guión como por el actor, logran un excelente contraste entre Rhodey y Stark Pero vemos cómo se apoyan mutuamente .

Jeff Bridges interpreta a Obadiah Stane, quien es el mentor de Tony Pero también el antagonista de la cinta, a pesar de ser un excelente personaje la cinta no le da el tiempo suficiente para lucirse, lo que es una lástima ya que el actor se destaca asombrosamente en cada escena que aparece, pero no deja de ser un villano bidimensional.

En esta cinta logran combinar realismo y elementos de ficción de manera increíble y entretenida, no copian el material de origen sino que toman lo necesario, respetan la esencia y construye su propia historia, logrando una producción que les gusta a conocedores y no conocedores del personaje.

Los efectos especiales son de mis elementos favoritos en esta película, la armadura es sorprendente, el cómo se va activando al ir ajustándose al personaje es genial, y como se combina con la música es maravilloso. Las escenas de batalla, los diálogos, los momentos tranquilos y de tensión están muy bien logrados haciendo que está película sea una de las mejores cintas del género de superhéroes.

It shows us the story of Tony Stark, a multimillionaire arms entrepreneur who doesn't really care about anything, until one day he sees how his weapons are used and decides to make a drastic change in his life and become a better man.

This movie released almost twenty years ago was what served as the beginning of what we know today as the UCM, there had already been films of Marvel heroes like Spiderman, The Fantastic 4 and the X Men who are the most popular characters of the publisher, however Iron Man was not so well known outside the comics so it was a pretty reckless move to adapt this specific hero. I didn't see this adaptation in theaters until a few years later on television, I didn't know anything about the character so I didn't know what to expect, so when I was watching it I was more and more surprised.

It has become one of my favorites along with other adaptations like Nolan's Batman, Sam Raimi's Spiderman and Fox's X Men and Fantastic 4. One of the big plus points was casting Robert Downey Junior in the lead role, I know you have to cast an actor who looks as close to the character as possible, but here it seems like they took him from the comics to real life, managing to show us the hero's journey from someone vain and selfish to a hero who fights for what is right and seeks to help the world using his resources.

There is also Gwynett Paltrow playing Pepper Pots, although the character does not have many moments in the movie the actress does an excellent job making the audience quickly interested in her and the strong bond she shares with Tony Stark.

Terrence Howards plays James Rhodey Rodes, Stark's closest friend, he also manages to be an interesting character both by the script and the actor, they achieve an excellent contrast between Rhodey and Stark But we see how they support each other .

Jeff Bridges plays Obadiah Stane, who is Tony's mentor but also the antagonist of the film, despite being an excellent character the film does not give him enough time to shine, which is a pity because the actor stands out amazingly in every scene he appears, but it does not stop being a two-dimensional villain.

In this film they manage to combine realism and fictional elements in an incredible and entertaining way, they do not copy the source material but take what is necessary, they respect the essence and build their own story, achieving a production that both connoisseurs and non-connoisseurs of the character like.

The special effects are one of my favorite elements in this movie, the armor is amazing, how it activates as it adjusts to the character is great, and how it combines with the music is wonderful. The battle scenes, the dialogues, the quiet and tense moments are very well done making this movie one of the best films of the superhero genre.
