Moana: This is one of my favourite animated movies!!!

The movie is centered on a girl in a tropical Island who is on a quest to restore what her people lost.
What could that be? Come along with me while I unfold the answer.

The people people of Motunui were once voyagers. They went from Island to Island and where their heart loved,they dwelled there. But everything changed when Maui__ demigod of the wind and sea,shape shifter, and hero of men__stole the heart of Te Fiti, the mother Island. The heart that carries the power of life and creation.

As a result of that, darkness covered the world, monsters roamed the ocean, plants died,fishing became arduous. And so, voyaging was banned in Motunuis.

THIS EVENT LEADS US TO MOANA'S EXISTENCE:
She is the main character in the movie whose name is also the movie's name. The daughter of Motunui chief who for an unknown reason, keeps getting drawn to the ocean.
Before her birth,fishing was already difficult for fishermen because they were restricted from fishing beyond the reef. But after Moana discovers the cave of the ancestors,she knowns who her people really are. VOYAGERS!! And she believes they can still do it.

Her bold declaration to fish beyond the reef kindles her father's anger. He decides to burn the canoes but is interrupted by the announcement concerning his mother's sudden deteriorating health.
Before joining the ancestors,she gives Moana Te Fiti's heart and urged her to embark on the journey. Find Maui,deliver him across the great ocean and restore the heart.

The journey was not easy. From drowning,getting stuck in Maui's cafe, fighting the Kakamora__mini coconut pirates. Facing a giant narcissistic crab,losing Maui's trust when his hook breaks. Broken,she reluctantly gives up but, a brief encounter with her grandmother and ancestors strengthens her.
She proceeds on the journey to find Te Fiti and surprisingly makes it past the larvae monster. However, before reaching Te Fiti's spot she once again is attacked by the monster. This time, she is saved by her partner, Maui!!!

What Moana Taught me:
Leadership isn't about the support you get. Rather,it's resilience,strength, courage and most importantly; following your instinct.

WE OUGHT TO REMEMBER ONE THING:
Staying within the borders of the reef would only limit us from the great things we could achieve for our community and ourselves as well. Come out of that comfort zone
