I just saw this movie and I must say that I loved it, I had to watch it in two parts because I felt that it is very dense, in the afternoon I saw the first half and in the evening after dinner I finished watching the rest of the movie. I honestly think that writing about this movie just over an hour after I finished watching it is kind of rushed. If you're wondering if I'll do any spoilers, rest assured I won't. I will talk about the film without revealing anything substantial, I will keep to the edge of what can be said.

What I intend to do is to convince you that this is a film you should see as soon as possible. I think this whole multiverse thing is all the rage, and string theory and all those space-time postulates that are not easy for all of us to understand. Recently it has been Marvel with its Spiderman and Doctor Strange movies, and series such as Loki that have addressed the multiverse, now, this film focuses on the postulate of the existence of the multiverse.

In truth, the theme is spun as the characters develop, and I personally find them to be good performances. At the beginning, the film can be confusing, but as the minutes go by, the movie takes shape. Now, this feature film has a little bit of everything, since the central argument explodes the head, but it has funny scenes that will make you laugh, also some scenes that will leave you hanging, at least a couple of scenes I did not know whether to laugh or feel some aversion to what had just happened, a weird humor, which makes it particular.

All the heavy theme of the film is related to a family situation that from the beginning shows you that there is some tension in the home and that seems to me something brilliant, as they relate two conflicts, one macro and one micro, I will not tell you which ones because otherwise why watch the film later.

On the other hand, I don't know if those who produced the film thought about the reflections that could arise after watching the film, in my case it made me think of a topic that I debated years ago in medieval philosophy classes, when we talked about the omniscience of God versus human free will, this film is not at all religious but I feel that it can move deep philosophical, physical and existential reflections.

I know that many think that films belong to the realm of entertainment and that trying to build a reflective atmosphere around the film is a waste of time, but I do not consider that to be so, since after watching the film many ideas regarding human existence dwell in my mind. In this sense, one of the messages presented by the film is to take control of what we decide, not to suffer for things that have not happened yet, a great stoic advice. It is to understand that every emotion moves us in a certain way, the ideal would be to remain as equanimous as possible, and to be able to make decisions carefully, thus taking the reins and control of life.

Todo a la vez en todas parte

Acabo de ver esta película y debo decir que me encantó, la tuve que ver en dos partes porque sentí que es muy densa, por la tarde ví la primera mitad y ya por la noche después de cenar terminé de ver el resto de la película. Honestamente creo que escribir sobre esta película cuando apenas ha pasado poco más de una hora de terminar de verla es como apresurado. Si te preguntas si haré algún spoilers, descuida que no. Hablaré del film sin revelar nada sustancial, me mantendré al borde de lo que se puede decir.

Lo que pretendo es convencerte de que esta es una película que debes ver lo más pronto posible. Creo que esta de moda todo este tema del multiverso, y la teoría de cuerdas y todo ese entramado de postulados espacio-temporales que no a todos se nos hace fácil de comprender. Recientemente ha sido Marvel con sus películas de Spiderman y Doctor Strange, y series como la de Loki que han abordado el tema del multiverso, ahora bien, esta película se centra en el postulado de la existencia del multiverso.

En verdad, la temática la van hilando conforme se van desarrollando los personajes, y que en lo personal me parecen buenas actuaciones. Al principio, la película puede resultar confusa pero a medida que van transcurriendo los minutos la peli va tomando forma. Ahora bien, este largometraje tiene de todo un poco, ya que el argumento central explota la cabeza, pero posee escenas graciosas que te harán reír, también algunas escenas que te dejaran colgado, por lo menos un par de escenas no supe si reír o sentir cierta aversión con lo que había acabado de ocurrir, un humor raro, cosa que lo hace particular.
Todo el tema pesado de la película va relacionado con una situación familiar que desde el inicio te muestran que hay cierta tensión en el hogar y eso me parece algo brillante, como relacionan dos conflictos uno macro y otro micro, no te diré cuales porque sino para que ver la película después.

Por otro lado, no sé si quienes produjeron la película pensaron en las reflexiones que podrían gestarse tras ver el film.En mi caso me hizo pensar en un tema que debatí hace años en clases de filosofía medieval, cuando hablábamos sobre la omnisciencia de Dios frente al libre albedrío humano, este film no es para nada religioso pero siento que puede mover profundas reflexiones filosóficas, físicas y existenciales.

Sé que muchos piensan que las películas pertenecen al ámbito del entretenimiento y que intentar construir un ambiente reflexivo en torno a la película es perder tiempo, pero no considero que sea tan así, ya que tras ver la película habitan en mi mente muchas ideas con respecto a la existencia humana. En este sentido, uno de los mensajes que nos presenta el film es tomar control de lo que decidimos, no sufrir por cosas que no han sucedido aún, un gran consejo estoico. Es comprender que cada emoción nos mueve de determinada manera, lo ideal sería permanecer lo más ecuánime posible, y poder tomar decisiones con detenimiento, tomando de ese modo las riendas y el control de la vida.
