"Beasts of no nation"
Hace un par de días me hicieron una recomendación, me preguntaron si había visto la película “Beasts of no nation” y no, no la había visto, hasta el día de ayer que después de cenar decidí abrir mi sesión en mi cuenta de Netflix. Cuando me la recomendaron me dijeron que no era una película para cualquier persona, que es una película realmente cruda y de escenas fuertes, que no era apta para personas sensibles. y como yo visualmente no soy tan sensible que se diga, me dije a mi mismo “¿por qué no verla?”
En verdad la película es un film muy crudo, con escenas muy fuertes. La película está inspirada en estas realidades bélicas en el continente africano y como grupos guerrilleros rebeldes secuestran pequeños niños y les lavan el cerebro para hacer de ellos unos pequeños soldados de la manera más cruenta y deshumana. Siento que es de las mejores películas bélicas que he visto, y me sorprende que siendo una película del 2015 no la haya visto.
La película evidencia ciertas realidades que acaecen en algunos lugares y por sobretodo evidencia lo absurdo de las guerras, en realidad bajo ningún aspecto la guerra debería ser la ruta de resolución de algún problema. Si no has visto la película, atento porque lo que diré a continuación puede contener spoilers.
SINOPSIS:
Abu vive con su familia en una aldea ubicada en alguna zona neutral en algún lugar de África,la guerra parece ser algo común porque cada día llegan más refugiados a la aldea. Cierto día parece que uno de los grupos rebeldes ha roto el pacto preestablecido y han ingresado a la zona neutral, y detonan una serie de eventos que separan al pequeño Abu de su familia, y termina perteneciendo a uno de estos grupos paramilitares y le toca vivir cosas realmente lamentables para un pequeño niño.
Es imposible no sentirse afectado por este film, además que uno de los personajes principales llamado “el Comandante” interpretado por Idris Elba le imprime una constante tensión a cada momento. Ya que este Comandante como líder del grupo paramilitar, utiliza el engaño, la manipulación y el abuso de poder. Abu durante el transcurso de la película va perdiendo esa inocencia que caracteriza a la niñez, y de ser un niño creativo, con sentido del humor y alegre pasa a ser un pequeño soldado en un ambiente bélico que le desprende brutalmente de toda esencia de niñez.
Aunque es una historia está inspirada en una novela muestra una realidad que normalmente no pensamos y que no es un secreto que es algo que ocurre en la actualidad, así que el desenvolvimiento de la historia hace que te involucres emocionalmente y sentirse afectado por la historia es algo que no podemos evitar. Es la brutalidad de la guerra a tal punto que como seres humanos nos hace pensar que la guerra debería ser un recurso impensable, o mejor dicho, ni siquiera debería ser un recurso. Ya que en tiempos de guerra ningún bando es vencedor.

Le doy una calificación de 8 puntos sobre 10, porque a mi parecer es un film bien elaborado, cruento y la actuación de sus protagonistas es algo que a mi parecer es impecable, hace muy creíble cada emoción que van viviendo en cada momento. El pequeño “Abu” interpreta su papel de manera prolija y va atravesando múltiples circunstancias que van cargando de sentido en el desarrollo de personaje, y con respecto al papel que desempeña Idris Elba, “El Comandante” le imprime la perversidad necesaria para que el personaje tenga el carácter necesario para hacernos sentir repulsión.
Creo que la película es muy cruenta, lo necesario para que los espectadores sintamos lo absurdo que son las guerras y que las personas mas inocentes son las que más sufren. Es triste saber que hechos como los que vemos en la película han sucedido, y siguen sucediendo. Es necesario e imperativo que el ser humano abandone cualquier acto bélico como resolución de conflictos.
Ahora bien, como palabras finales debo decir que disfruté cada minuto de la película, creo que la fotografía y la edición fueron algo bien elaboradas, también los guiones fueron algo bien elaborados o por lo menos eso fue lo que me pareció. En pocas palabras, esta película es una joya que todos deberían ver, bueno, en realidad los que tengan estómago para verla ya que como dije es bien sangrienta y contiene escenas muy fuertes.

A couple of days ago they made a recommendation to me, they asked me if I had seen the movie "Beasts of no nation" and no, I had not seen it, until yesterday that after dinner I decided to open my session in my Netflix account. When they recommended it to me they told me that it was not a movie for everyone, that it is a really raw movie with strong scenes, that it was not suitable for sensitive people. and since I am not that visually sensitive, I said to myself "why not watch it? ".
In truth the film is a very raw film, with very strong scenes. The film is inspired by these war realities in the African continent and how rebel guerrilla groups kidnap little children and brainwash them to make them little soldiers in the most bloody and dehumanizing way. I feel it is one of the best war movies I have seen, and I am surprised that being a 2015 movie I have not seen it.
The film evidences certain realities that occur in some places and above all it evidences the absurdity of wars, in fact under no aspect war should be the route to solve any problem. If you have not seen the movie, pay attention because what I will say below may contain spoilers.
SYNOPSIS:
Abu lives with his family in a village located in some neutral zone somewhere in Africa,war seems to be a common thing because every day more and more refugees arrive in the village. One day it seems that one of the rebel groups has broken the pre-established pact and have entered the neutral zone, and detonate a series of events that separate little Abu from his family, and he ends up belonging to one of these paramilitary groups and he has to live really unfortunate things for a little boy.
Although it is a story is inspired by a novel shows a reality that we usually do not think and that is no secret that it is something that happens today, so the unfolding of the story makes you get emotionally involved and feel affected by the story is something we can not avoid. It is the brutality of war to such an extent that as human beings it makes us think that war should be an unthinkable resource, or rather, it shouldn't even be a resource. For in times of war no side is a winner.

I give it a rating of 8 points out of 10, because in my opinion it is a well-crafted film, bloody and the acting of its protagonists is something that in my opinion is impeccable, it makes very believable every emotion that they are living in every moment. The little "Abu" plays his role in a neat way and goes through multiple circumstances that make sense in the development of the character, and with respect to the role played by Idris Elba, "The Commander" gives him the necessary perversity so that the character has the necessary character to make us feel repulsion.
I think the film is very bloody, just enough to make the viewers feel how absurd wars are and that the most innocent people are the ones who suffer the most. It is sad to know that events like the ones we see in the film have happened, and continue to happen. It is necessary and imperative that human beings abandon any act of war as a means of conflict resolution.
Now, as final words I must say that I enjoyed every minute of the film, I think the photography and editing were somewhat well crafted, also the scripts were somewhat well crafted or at least that's what I thought. In a few words, this movie is a gem that everyone should see, well, actually those who have the stomach to see it since as I said it is well bloody and contains very strong scenes.

I liked this movie and agree with your score, Idris Elba gives a great performance in this movie, really the character (along with Abu's) reflects the harsh reality in some African countries where children are trained as soldiers.
An entertaining film, but at the same time it makes us reflect on these really terrible situations.

Thank you for your comment, and yes I think the purpose of the film is to express with crudeness what happens because maybe softening those realiadade would not make us think about how to avoid that as a society.
