Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey Cult 2023 Movie Review

Another day, another cult film!. After my Piglet 2025 movie review next is Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey Cult. In term of cult films i promise this one is a bit better than the last one. Also note that, as the title suggests, this is a movie that was released in 2023, a B-Horror cult movie!

Plot

Now the plot of this movie is quite funny, to be honest. The plot follows the actual story of Winnie the Pooh with a twist. You see, Christopher Robin was friends with Winnie and Piglet when he was a kid; he even brought out food to them. When he grew up, he had to leave them behind as he had to go to college and such.

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet felt alone and hungry and embarked on a rampage as they searched for a new source of food which, as you can imagine, is humans. Of course they both are like 2 meters in term of height and have quite the raw power.

So basically we are watching our classic heroes killing and eating random people and at the same time Christofer comes back and try to understand what's wrong with his friends and if he will manage to solve it.

What I Liked and what I Didn't

In comparison to Piglet 2025, this movie has an actual plot and follows a storyline. So you can expect a decent flow and turn of events. The actors aren't top-rated as you can imagine but they do the work they're supposed to do.

For their limited budget, the gore and bloody scenes are quite good, to be honest. The same applies to the costumes. I think due to the above, it managed to have a fanbase which is the reason that had a second movie out which io will review in the next days, and was way better.

In terms of a cult movie, i would give it a 6/10. In terms of review it as a normal movie it's like a 3/10.
