THE FLASH (2023) THE LAST DC MOVIE I WILL SEE - THE FLASH (2023) LA ÚLTIMA PELÍCULA DE DC QUE VERÉ [ENG-ESP]

Hello friends, today I was able to go to the cinema to see The Flash, considered the last movie in the old and chaotic universe of shared DC movies, as I say in the title, it is the last movie for me, since as a fan I prefer to say goodbye to these kinds of movies and stay better with comics and animated movies. I am not at all attracted to the reboot that James Gunn will do, so I will briefly comment on my appreciation of this film without any kind of spoilers, I will focus on what I liked, on the story and the characters, since it is a recently released film Many haven't seen it yet, so let's get started!

Hola amigos, hoy he podido asistir al cine para poder ver The Flash, considerada la última película del antiguo y caótico universo de películas compartidas de DC, como digo en el título, es la última película para mi, ya que como fan prefiero despedirme de este tipo de películas y quedarme mejor con los cómics y las películas animadas. No me atrae para nada el reinicio que hará James Gunn, así que comentaré brevemente mi apreciación sobre esta película sin ninguna clase de spoilers, me enfocaré en lo que me gustó, en la historia y los personajes, ya que como es una película recién estrenada aún muchos no la han visto, así que comencemos!

Without a doubt, this film was highly anticipated, after long years of failures and setbacks, especially by the protagonist Ezra Miller who was involved in some scandals that questioned his permanence as the flash in the project. To this were also added the box office failures of previous works, people only regained faith in DC when Warner released Zack Snyder's cut on Justice League, in all this context this film was finally able to see the light, so I went to the movies with the sole interest of enjoying it to the fullest.

Sin duda alguna que esta película fue muy esperada, después de largos años de fracasos y tropiezos, especialmente por el protagonista Ezra Miller quien se vio envuelto en algunos escándalos que ponían en duda su permanencia como flash en el proyecto. A esto también se sumaron los fracasos en taquillas de trabajos anteriores, las personas solo recuperaron la fe en DC cuando Warner libero el corte de Zack Snyder sobre la Liga de la Justicia, en todo este contexto esta película por fin pudo ver la luz, así que fui al cine con el único interés de disfrutarla al máximo.

In general, my first impression was of the actor Ezra Miller playing 2 totally different Barry Allens in every aspect, one very mature and serious, and the other, well, the other is the Flash we always saw, with a sense of humor too exaggerated for my taste, however I feel that this marked difference does very well for the development of the motivations of both versions. So it's important to talk about the story of the movie, Flash discovers that he can travel to the past and thus be able to change things that he doesn't like, such as the death of his mother. A very strong feeling of guilt surrounds him and his desire is to try to change that fact. This is what leads him to develop the subsequent events, although in the comics and in the animated movies the story is the same, many facts change radically, but it doesn't bother me since this movie is made to attract all audiences not forgetting his true fan base.

De manera general mi primera impresión fue sobre el actor Ezra Miller interpretando a 2 Barry Allen totalmente diferentes en cada aspecto, uno muy maduro y serio, y el otro, bueno, el otro es el Flash que siempre vimos, con un sentido del humor demasiado exagerado para mi gusto, sin embargo siento que esta diferencia marcada hace muy bien para el desarrollo de las motivaciones de ambas versiones. Así que es importante hablar de la historia de la película, Flash descubre que puede viajar al pasado y así poder cambiar cosas que no le gustan, como por ejemplo la muerte de su madre. Un sentimiento muy grande de culpa lo envuelve y su deseo es tratar de cambiar ese hecho. Esto es lo que le lleva a desarrollar los eventos posteriores, si bien en los cómics y en las películas animadas la historia es la misma, cambian radicalmente muchos hechos, pero a mi no me molesta ya que esta película esta realizada para atraer a todo publico sin olvidar a su verdadera base de fanáticos.

Now without a doubt I will say my favorite moment: The appearance of the legendary Michael Keaton as Batman, 30 years later he dons the cape to help Flash in one last adventure to save the world. This was really the greatest thing in cinema, it was an experience similar to the meeting of the 3 Spiderman, but multiplied by a thousand. The director Andy Muschietti respected and maintained the essence of this iconic Batman and hearing him say "I'm Batman" again in the cinema was incredible, there were fanservice scenes that were really well executed and filled the film with a lot of nostalgia. for it is the strongest point that gives the story greater weight and functions as the axis of events.

Ahora sin duda diré mi momento favorito: La aparición del legendario Michael Keaton como Batman, 30 años después se pone la capa para ayudar a Flash en una última aventura por salvar al mundo. Realmente esto fue lo más grande del cine, fue una experiencia parecida a la reunión de los 3 Spiderman, pero multiplicado por mil. El director Andy Muschietti respetó y mantuvo la escencia de este Batman tan icónico y volver a escucharlo en el cine diciendo "I´m Batman" fue incréible, hubo escenas de fanservice que realmente fueron bien ejecutadas y que colmaron a la película de mucha nostalgia, para es el punto mas fuerte que otorga a la historia un peso mayor y funciona como eje de los acontecimientos.

Another performance that was very good and an excellent addition was the actress Sasha Calle as Supergirl, in this new timeline altered by Flash, Supergirl is the Kryptonian who arrives on the planet and not Kal-El, her performance was excellent, very well executed and that balances the scales perfectly. I feel like he should have had more screen time, but the amount of time he did not get was enough for me to take his character seriously.

Otra actuación que fue muy buena y una incorporación excelente fue la actriz Sasha Calle como Supergirl, en esta nueva línea de tiempo alterada por Flash, Supergirl es la Kriptoniana que llega al planeta y no Kal-El, su actuación fue excelente, muy bien ejecutada y que equilibra la balanza perfectamente. Siento que debió aparecer más tiempo en pantalla, pero el tiempo que o hizo fue suficiente para tomarme en serio su personaje.

It was also Ben Afleck's farewell as Batman to what this movie universe means, it was the last time he donned the Dark Knight's cape and he did it with dignity, as did Jeremy Irons as his butler Alfred. As is well known, many actors were cut off from the new Warner project and only very few will repeat their characters. So Ben Afleck has said goodbye in the only film that could bring together two Batmans from different eras. In my opinion it is unfortunate since I could never see a development of Ben Afleck as Batman.

Tambien fue la despedida de Ben Afleck como Batman de lo que significa este universo de películas, fue la última vez que se puso la capa del Caballero de la Noche y lo hizo dignamente, al igual que Jeremy Irons como su mayordomo Alfred. Como es bien sabido muchos actores quedaron desvinculados del nuevo proyecto de Warner y solo muy pocos repetiran en sus personajes, Así que Ben Afleck ha dicho adios en la única película que pudo reunir a dos Batman de diferentes épocas. A mi parecer es lamentable ya que nunca pude ver un desarrollo de Ben Afleck como Batman.

Broadly speaking, the movie is very good, if you're a fan of DC comics you'll be able to enjoy it, I only find two flaws, one of them is the CGI, in some scenes the recreations are horrible and it shows that the movie wasn't 100% finished , however that does not make the story weak or meaningless. The other detail, and it's something very personal, is Flash's humor, sometimes I don't understand what the meaning of his jokes is and that he already has time on the screen, in the same way it doesn't feel like comic relief to lower the tension in some scenes, I just feel disjointed. For everything else I recommend it, as I said before, I will no longer see these types of DC movies, I will only stay with the animated universe. This has been my brief opinion about the film, I hope it generates interest and you decide to go see it, I say goodbye until a new opportunity.

A grandes rasgos la película es muy buena, si eres fan de DC comics podrás disfrutarla, solo le encuentro dos fallas, una de ellas es el CGI, en algunas escenas las recreaciones son espantosas y se nota que la película no estaba terminada al 100%, sin embargo eso no hace que la historia sea floja o sin sentido. El otro detalle y es algo muy personal, es el humor de Flash, a veces no entiendo cual es el sentido de sus chistes y eso que ya tiene tiempo en pantalla, de igual forma no se siente como un alivio cómico para bajar la tensión en algunas escenas, solo lo siento desencajado. Por todo lo demás la recomiendo, como dije antes, ya no veré más este tipo de películas de DC, solo me quedaré con el universo animado. Esto ha sido mi breve opinión sobre la película, espero que les genere interés y decidan ir a verla, yo me despido hasta una nueva oportunidad.
