Hello film lovers, /Bonjour les cinéphiles,

Right now, we're watching a series with 10 seasons, each consisting of about 20 episodes. We're halfway through the series, and I also wanted to watch some of the new releases that have been coming out on streaming platforms lately.

I saw that The Bluff had just arrived on Prime Video, that it was well rated and that it lasted about 1 hour 45 minutes, which is ideal for not going to bed too late.

It falls into the action (and pirates) category.

En ce moment, nous regardons une série en 10 saisons, dont chaque saison se compose d'une vingtaine d'épisodes. Nous avons passé la moitié de la série et je voulais aussi regarder l'une ou l'autre nouveauté qui débarque sur les plateformes ces temps-ci.

J'ai vu que La Falaise venait d'arriver sur Prime Vidéo, qu'il était bien noté et qu'il durait environ 1h45, l'idéal pour ne pas s'endormir trop tard.

Il est à classer dans la catégorie action (et pirates).

Synopsis :

T.H. Bodden is the captain of a ship. He is at sea and is attacked by pirates. Most of his men will perish in the fight, but T.H. is kept alive.

The pirates are led by a man named Connor, who lands on one of the Cayman Islands, where T.H.'s family lives: his wife Ercell, their son Isaac and his sister Elizabeth.

Connor is determined to find Ercell and do everything he can to recover a treasure that was stolen from him several years ago.

T.H. Bodden est capitaine d'un bateau. Il est en mer et se fait attaquer par des pirates. La plupart de ses hommes périront en combattant, mais T.H. est gardé en vie.

A la tête des pirates, il y a, notamment, un certain Connor, qui débarquera sur une des îles Caïmans, où vit la famille de T.H., c'est-à-dire son épouse Ercell, leur fils Isaac et sa sœur Elizabeth.

Connor est déterminé à retrouver Ercell et à faire tout ce qu'il peut pour récupérer un trésor qui lui aurait été volé il y a plusieurs années de cela.

There was plenty of action and bloodshed, which explains Ercell's old nickname.

I don't think this film will stay with us for long, but it was entertaining and made a nice change from the series we usually watch.

I still like films and series about pirates, even though we spent very little time at sea in this film.

Il y avait de l'action et de l'hémoglobine au rendez-vous, ce qui s'explique par l'ancien surnom d'Ercell.

Je ne pense pas que ce film restera gravé dans nos mémoires, mais il était distrayant et nous a changé d'ambiance par rapport à la série que nous regardons.

J'aime encore bien les films et séries qui parlent de pirates, même si on a passé très peu de temps en mer, dans ce film.
