Synopsis :

Grazia, a friend of Lidia’s, comes to see her with her daughter Mila. She is trying to escape her violent husband.

Lidia has known Grazia for several years; it was thanks to Grazia that she was able to find a place to stay and food to eat whilst she was studying law.

Now, Grazia needs Lidia’s help—first to fund a trip, and then to defend her in court, as her husband has been killed and she is the prime suspect.

Other cases will be woven into this underlying storyline as the episodes unfold.

Grazia, une amie de Lidia, vient la voir avec sa fille Mila. Elle tente d'échapper à son mari violent.

Lidia connaît Grazia depuis plusieurs années, c'est grâce à Grazia qu'elle a pu être logée et nourrie pendant qu'elle étudiait le droit.

Aujourd'hui, Grazia a besoin de Lidia, d'abord pour l'aider à financer un voyage et, ensuite, ce sera pour prendre sa défense devant le tribunal, puisque son mari a été tué et qu'elle en est la coupable présumée.

D'autres affaires viendront se greffer à cette trame de fond, au fil des épisodes.

Lidia Poët was Italy’s first female lawyer, and she had to fight tooth and nail to be accepted as such, at a time when only men were allowed to practise the profession.

In any case, it’s an original series, albeit one based on real events.

I really enjoyed this series.

Lidia Poët est la première femme avocate italienne et elle aura dû faire des pieds et des mains pour être acceptée en tant que telle, à une époque où seuls les hommes pouvaient pratiquer ce métier.

En tout cas, c'est une série originale, tout en étant basée sur des faits réels.

J'ai bien aimé cette série.

Lidia’s outfits are often full of bright colours and are very pretty.
On the other hand, the clothes worn by her brother Enrico are rather in poor taste, in my opinion, at least.

La musique est anachronique et parfois perturbante.

Les tenues vestimentaires de Lidia sont souvent pleines de couleurs vives et sont très jolies.
Par contre, les vêtements portés par son frère Enrico, sont d'assez mauvais goût, à mes yeux, en tout cas.
