¡Buenas mis queridos amantes de las películas! ¿Como están? espero que muy bien y con ganas de recorrer las calles huyendo de la ley al ritmo de las mas excelsas canciones que se les pueda ocurrir, Baby Driver, estrenada en el 2017, es esa película que tiene temática de persecuciones, atracos y huidas, que se combinan con un componente musical ejecutado de manera magistral y que se plasma casi en cada momento de acción que tiene esta obra, no obstante, también tiene algo drama, tensión y algunos momentos un poco absurdos pero que pegan muy bien con la película, si conocen a este director, llamado Edgar Wright, sabrán a lo que me refiero, por ende, los invito a que se pongan el cinturón ¡Porque vamos a comenzar!

A penas empezando la película, tendremos un MP3 que ira reproduciendo una canción que se sincronizara con los cambios de cámara, mostrándonos al conductor de un automóvil, a 3 desconocidos, y previamente, un banco que sera el objetivo de esta operación como se imaginaran, estos 3 desconocidos, son atracadores que se encargaran de ejecutar el golpe con exito mientras que nuestro piloto, se quedara esperando y principalmente, disfrutando de su canción mientras sus colegas hacen lo suyo, las cosas se ponen serias cuando suena la alarma y sus compañeros corren hacia el vehículo, comenzando una huida que no sera nada sencilla para un piloto promedio, no obstante, este piloto, no es un promedio, es de hecho, un artista del escape que hace parecer fácil el salir de situaciones tan complicadas como esta, logrando así despistar a las autoridades y completando otro día más a su larga lista de atracos completados, sin embargo, pronto descubriremos que no se dedica a esto por voluntad propia, si no más bien para saldar una deuda pendiente con la verdadera mente maestra de todo estos asaltos, Kevin Spacey, conocido como Doc en la pelicula.

Si hay algo que también destacara en la película, aparte de las canciones, es los actores que hacen aparición en la misma, algunos tiene momentos cortos y otros tienen mas tiempo de cámara pero quien me sorprendió ver es al The Punisher de Marvel, quien curiosamente, le dice al propio Baby, que no se puede estar en este mundo sin tener sangre en las manos y que cuando la tenga, se dará cuenta de que esa mierda no se quita con agua, momentazo la verdad, pero este introductorio, nos da a entender que el negocio en el que esta Baby esta lleno de gente potencialmente peligrosa y hostil con el, más cunado este mismo, no emite ningún aura de ser un criminal despiadado, si no más bien de ser un chico muy metido en su música, al punto en que alguno se preguntará si es retrasado, no obstante, la única verdad que Baby demostrara, es ser un amante irreconciliable del sonido de las canciones llegando a componer todo tipo de mezclas que guardara en cintas, cosa que nos dejara ver un poco de su pasado y algo de su día a día, aprendiendo que es capaz de entender lo que dicen las personas, gracias a que su cuidador le enseño a hacerlo.

De las primeras cosas que me empece a preguntar cuando disfrutaba plenamente la película, era si el director no estaría por casualidad relacionado con otra tremenda obra de culto que también disfrute mucho en su día, los entendedores sabran de cual hablo y efectivamente, resulto ser el mismo encargado de la realización de aquella obra, Baby Driver tiene la marca de este director por casi cualquier lugar donde se la mire y tal vez para algunos, este pueda ser su mayor defecto o su mayor virtud, en mi caso, es una completa virtud, porque si la película dependiera únicamente de su historia, pues bueno, no seria nada del otro mundo, es más me atrevería a afirmar, que seria hasta genérica, un conductor que tiene trabaja mas por obligación que por voluntad, y que la momento de encontrar el amor, intentara salirse de esa vida a toda costa, si solo fuera eso, probablemente ni una reseña me molestaría en hacer, pero Baby Driver es algo más que su historia.

Hay algo especial en esta película

Algo que tiene mucho merito es que en ningún momento esta película se te hace aburrida, tiene ese algo que te mantiene atento a todo lo que sucede y generalmente, la música que suena es otro plus que te ayuda a ir con consonancia con lo que van pasando, de verdad creo que incluso para los gustos musicales más exigentes, se les hará muy difícil criticar negativamente a la obra cuando tiene tantos temas, de tantos estilos y de tantas variantes que se pueden ir desde el Rap, hasta el Jazz, pasando por el Rock y algunos géneros más, en cierta forma, Baby se siente como un tributo a todos esos artistas, e inclusive se hace notar que es un homenaje a la música misma, cuando vez la participación de un gigante del bajo como Flea pero principalmente, con el propio personaje de Baby, por si quedan dudas, esta sincronización que existe, entre cada escena de la película, con el ritmo de las canciones que suenan, simplemente me encantan.

Baby Driver es una película simple, ejecutada de manera totalmente diferente a lo que uno se esperaría, con giros de guion inesperados y con algunas detalles algo absurdos, pero que no dejan en ningún momento de ser entretenidos y de mantener al espectador atento a lo que esta pasando, tiene una construcción de personajes aceptable pero no perfecta, cayendo algunos en los clichés de toda la vida en el cine, pero cumpliendo su rol en la historia de manera adecuada, los actores me gustaron bastante, sobretodo el protagonista y su cuidador, de verdad que te transmiten esa química de conocerse de toda la vida, y te rompe un poquito el corazón ver que se separan, una pena que no pueda entender el lenguaje de señas, pero basta con la mirada para darse cuenta que es una despedida emotiva, en definitiva, Baby Driver es una muy buena película, muy entretenida, bastante disfrutable y hasta divertida de ver, no obstante, se puede sentir muy simple y con el tiempo, quizás hasta un poco olvidable, cosa que no le quita de todas maneras, lo bien hecha que esta, y sobretodo, la excelente elección de temas que van sonando a lo largo de toda la película, sin dudas, una obra que le recomendaría a cualquiera, Aprobado por Franzz.
