Olivie Colman is one of the best actresses of our time but she didn't do herself a favor to lend her talents to this trash tv show, which clearly hated its protagonist and its fans. Marvels current executives and creatives don't hold back in telling us (through stories and interviews) that the core audience of yesteryear is no longer relevant to them.
I utterly despise the current ranks of Marvel/Disney. I found a few big YouTubers who share my disgust of what has happened to countless IP's in the last two decades, Marvel being only one of them.
I wish you well my friend. Don't fall for another Disney/Marvel shows. It is not good for your mental health ^^.

Yeah that's the reason, these stories are for new generations, nothing to do with those of us who grew up with the original ones years ago, I also see them with my son who does enjoy them and knows nothing about the past.
Yeah, but the overall audience shrinks enormously for those movies and tv shows. At some point, the executives must have an introspection and see, that it doesn't work to alienate the old audience to gain new audiences that are largely not there.
Pandering to women for example will not work in the superhero genre. Girls and women at large don't really care and buy movie tickets or watch shows in that genre.
But what do I care? ^^ I checked out after Phase 3.
