RECORDANDO UN AÑO DE BUENAS AVENTURAS - REMEMBERING A YEAR OF GOOD ADVENTURES (ESP/ENG)

Hola amigos de Hive y amantes del cine, los invito a que me acompañen en mi primer post del año, y el primero también después de un tiempo de no publicar nada por acá. Estuve un poco desaparecida por temas delicados de salud en mi familia que me costó vincular con mi ritmo en las publicaciones y rutinas diarias, ya que todo cambia un poco con estas situaciones.

Quiero empezar el año recordando que este 2025 fue de grandes logros profesionales, académicos y personales, me siento realmente feliz de haber compartido este año con personas valiosas y de las que aprendo constantemente.

Hello, Hive friends and movie lovers! I invite you to join me in my first post of the year, and also my first after a long hiatus from posting here. I've been a little absent due to some delicate health issues in my family, which made it difficult for me to keep up with my posting schedule and daily routines, as everything changes a bit in these situations.

I want to start the year by remembering that 2025 was a year of great professional, academic, and personal achievements. I feel truly happy to have shared this year with valuable people from whom I am constantly learning.

Hoy les quiero compartir una de nuestras últimas pautas en @peinetaspro el año pasado, se grabó un videoclip en el nuevo espacio de la escuela, un estudio en Guatire ubicado en la casa de uno de los estudiantes de la escuela "detrás de cámara" casualmente se dio el 21 de diciembre y recuerdo que en la misma fecha del año antepasado “2024” estábamos grabando también un vídeo clip pero en Guarenas. Es sorprendente todo lo que ha pasado en un año y lo que se ha logrado gracias al trabajo en equipo y el buen liderazgo.

Today I want to share with you one of our latest guidelines at @peinetaspro last year. a video clip was recorded in the school's new space, a studio in Guatire located in the home of one of the school's students “behind the camera.” Coincidentally, it was December 21, and I remember that on the same date the year before, in 2024, we were also recording a video clip, but in Guarenas. It's amazing how much has happened in a year and what has been achieved thanks to teamwork and good leadership.

La propuesta de este vídeo clip fue bastante interesante porque los artistas ya tenían una idea de lo que querían, y lo que se hizo fue estructurar esas ideas y materializarlas. @mundomanaure estuvo en la dirección de esta pauta, @sgarciacine en la cámara, @moisesjohan, Marian una estudiante de la escuela y mi persona estuvimos a cargo del área de iluminación.

The proposal for this video clip was quite interesting because the artists already had an idea of what they wanted, and what we did was structure those ideas and bring them to life. @mundomanaure was in charge of directing this project, @sgarciacine was on camera, and @moisesjohan, Marian, and I were in charge of lighting.

En ésta ocasión la propuesta estaba clara por parte de los artistas y nuestro trabajo se centró en materializarla. Se trabajaron tres escenarios, dos fondos, blanco y negro y además un esquema donde el color rosa predominaba en el cuadro. La luz habla, entra para elaborar el discurso de dualidad que el artista quiere transmitir, en un fondo negro iluminado por una sola fuente de luz, encontramos una clave baja y un tono mayor o alto contraste. Luego en un fondo blanco conseguimos al artista en contra luz, su silueta predomina, esto es una clave alta y un tono mayor también. Luego lo encontramos en un fondo fucsia en una clave alta y un tono menor, cada esquema nos muestra una faceta del artista, y nos da la llave al interior del discurso.

On this occasion, the artists had a clear proposal and our work focused on bringing it to life. We worked on three scenarios, two backgrounds, black and white, and also a scheme where pink predominated in the picture. The light speaks, entering to elaborate on the discourse of duality that the artist wants to convey. Against a black background illuminated by a single light source, we find a low key and a major tone or high contrast. Then, on a white background, we get the artist in backlight, his silhouette predominates, this is a high key and a higher tone as well. Then we find him on a fuchsia background in a high key and a lower tone, each scheme shows us a facet of the artist and gives us the key to the discourse.

Me gusta siempre escribir luego de las pautas porque este proceso de sistematización me permite entender y asimilar muchísimo mejor todo lo que se hace en el set y las decisiones que se toman, que nunca son a la ligera.

I always like to write after the guidelines because this process of systematization allows me to understand and assimilate much better everything that is done on set and the decisions that are made, which are never taken lightly.

Comenzar el año recordando un 2025 maravilloso y compartiendo la experiencia con grandes profesionales y amigos, esto completamente segura de que este 2026 grandes cosas se darán, porque en enfoque es el mismo y la constancia sigue intacta, el arte es un camino complicado y hermoso que cuando se asume con compromiso es imposible abandonar. Sin más que agregar amigos, me despido y espero de corazón que este post les haya agradado.

Starting the year by remembering a wonderful 2025 and sharing the experience with great professionals and friends, I am completely sure that great things will happen in 2026, because the focus is the same and the perseverance remains intact.
