I fully agree with you there. I sort of forced myself to watch the first season to understand better the hype and have something to talk about with everyone speaking about it.
So once Seasons 2 and 3 were out, it was easier for me, already knowing how brutal it can get and what to expect. I also think these were less brutal than the first season since the action is mostly focused on what happens behind the games. But it's not something I'd rewatch for sure.
