(ESP-ENG) Review Movies: Ex-machina // Ex-Máquina

Hablemos del cast de esta película, con el papel protagónico tenemos a Nathan, interpretado por Oscar Isaac) un programador multimillonario quien recluta a Caleb (interpretado por Domhnall Gleeson) el cual es un joven empleado que trabaja para este y es seleccionado para realizar una prueba al estilo del test de Turing sobre la nueva creación de Nathan, Ava (interpretada por Alicia Vikander) una I.A (inteligencia artificial) quien será sometida a una prueba en dónde debe demostrar que si tiene conciencia de máquina o de humano. Esta película no solo reúne y cuenta con un buen cast de actores y actrices sino que nos lleva a un tema que puede llegar a ser trillado pero que nos lo plantean desde otra perspectiva un tanto peculiar y que hace crecer la curiosidad del espectador y ver en qué termina esta prueba.

This film not only gathers and has a good cast of actors and actresses but also takes us to a topic that can become trite but that we raise it from another perspective somewhat peculiar and that makes the viewer's curiosity grow and see how this test ends.

La película británica con género ciencia ficción, thriller, drama y thriller psicólogo fue estrenada el 21 de enero del 2015 y fue dirigida por Alex Garland. La trama gira en torno a un joven trabajador dentro de una empresa de tecnología (muy al estilo de apple) quien resulta seleccionado por el dueño de dicha empresa para realizar un test en dónde debe hablar con una inteligencia artificial llamada Ava y demostrar si tiene comportamientos típicos de un robot o una máquina o si tiene la conciencia como la de un humano. Al poco tiempo de viajar a dónde su jefe se da cuenta de que se encuentra en un lugar totalmente desierto de población y lleno de naturaleza exceptuando la impresionante casa de su jefe Nathan, el cual al cabo de poco tiempo demuestra comportamientos narcisistas y egocéntricas, además de su tendencia a caer en el alcoholismo. Nathan le muestra a Caleb su nueva creación y Caleb se encuentra cautivado por ella pero poco a poco éste comienza a perder la cabeza luego de que Ava le dijera que no debe confiar en nada de lo que su jefe le dice.

Llevaba un tiempo queriendo ver esta película y ya que en estos días estuve algo libre decidí verla, quedé bastante impresionada de los efectos visuales tanto de la escenografía como de los androides los cuales a pesar de su apariencia humana tenían aún sus partes robóticas, aunque al principio estuvo un poco confundida por como se iba desarrollando la historia el final fue completamente crudo y bastante impresionante y fue un gran final a pesar de ser un final abierto, la trama fue muy buena y me hizo empatizar con el personaje de caleb. También quise ver esta película por el actor Oscar Isaac que últimamente se ha estado destacando mucho en el mundo artístico y su actuación fue magnífica, represento al 100% a un personaje completamente centrado pero que a la vez demostraba fuertes comportamientos de una persona narcisista ya que el se creía un dios por haber hecho a Ava y que al final del día demostró ser más inteligente de lo que ya era. Por otro lado Ava fue uno de los personajes que me gustaron más, su propósito fue completar esa prueba y lo hizo, demostrando que su capacidad para pensar siempre iba un paso más adelante de la de cualquier humano.

I had been wanting to see this movie for a while and since these days I was somewhat free I decided to see it, I was quite impressed with the visual effects of both the scenery and the androids which despite their human appearance still had their robotic parts, although at first was a little confused by how the story was developing the ending was completely raw and quite impressive and it was a great ending despite being an open ending, the plot was very good and made me empathize with the character of Caleb. I also wanted to see this movie because of the actor Oscar Isaac who lately has been standing out a lot in the artistic world and his performance was magnificent, he represented 100% a completely focused character but at the same time he showed strong behaviors of a narcissistic person since he believed he was a god for having made Ava and at the end of the day he proved to be smarter than he already was. On the other hand Ava was one of the characters I liked the most, her purpose was to complete that test and she did, showing that her ability to think was always one step ahead of any human.

Ex-Máquina Cuenta con una gran variedad de efectos especiales y que gracias a ellos fue nominada a numerosos premios en las academias de cine. La película te sumerge en un futuro (que quizás no éste muy lejano al nuestro) y te hace pensar sobre las acciones de cada uno de los personajes, la actuación de los personajes completamente impecable y sorprendente. Las escenas se sienten naturales, los diferentes cambios de los personajes son completamente notables y a veces no es necesario el diálogo para ver éste cambio. Brillante a nivel visual con ese estilo futurista y minimalista, lleno de inquietud y a la vez calma en cada uno de los espacios. De verdad que fue una película que disfruté muchísimo y me mantuvo pegada hasta que se terminó, la recomiendo completamente.

Ex-Machina has a great variety of special effects and thanks to them was nominated for numerous awards at the film academies. The film immerses you in a future (which may not be too far from ours) and makes you think about the actions of each of the characters, the acting of the characters completely impeccable and surprising. The scenes feel natural, the different changes of the characters are completely noticeable and sometimes it is not necessary the dialogue to see this change. Brilliant on a visual level with that futuristic and minimalist style, full of restlessness and at the same time calm in each of the spaces. It was truly a movie that I enjoyed very much and kept me glued until it was over, I highly recommend it.
