Hablemos del cast de esta película, contamos con un reparto variando y con grandes estrellas del cine. Como nuestra protagonista tenemos a Michelle Yeoh haciendo a Evelyn Wang, una mujer chino-estadounidense que existe en múltiples universos, a Ke Huy Quan como el esposo de Evelyn, Waymond Wang y a Stephanie Hsu hija de Evelyn, Joy Wang. Además de la participación de la grande Jamie Lee Curtis, Jenny Slate y James Hong.

Nuestra protagonista se ve sumergida en muchos problemas pero estos quedan de lado cuando su esposo de otro universo decide ayudarla a usar sus poderes para evitar que una villana conocida por el nombre Jobu Tupaki destruya a todas y cada una de sus versiones en el multiverso.

La trama gira entorno Evelyn Wang quien se encuentra pasando por diferentes problemas desde impuestos, la decepción constante de su padre debido a sus decisiones de casarse con un hombre simple y migrar a estados unidos y las constantes peleas con su hija joy, hasta que un día tiene una visita de su esposo de otro universo el cual le explica que ha ocurrido una ruptura interdimensional que está alterando la realidad y que de ella depende el futuro de ésta misma así que debe desarrollar y canalizar sus poderes para luchar contra los extraños peligros del multiverso mientras intenta resolver sus propios problemas familiares y personales.

Ésta película fue increíblemente divertida y emotiva, desde que empezó no podía parar de ver los pequeños mensajes y de analizar las frases en ella, fue una experiencia de otro universo y verla fue un verdadero placer. Muy divertida en dónde siempre van a haber escenas donde rías y a su vez cuestiones todo lo que está ocurriendo aún así después de tanta lluvia de información como a nuestra protagonista la película se desarrolla espléndidamente en sus 2 horas y 20 minutos, haciendo que cada escena sea inolvidable y que cada interacción con los personajes sea emotiva y creativa. Está película me pareció increíble e incluso me recordó un poco a Turning Red siendo para adultos y de ciencia ficción pero esto fue lo que la hizo aún más especial, el desarrollo de un vínculo el cual parecía estar a punto de fracturarse pero una vez más la comunicación fue la clave para resolverlo.

This movie was incredibly funny and emotional, since it started I couldn't stop watching the little messages and analyzing the sentences in it, it was an experience from another universe and watching it was a real pleasure. Very funny where there will always be scenes where you laugh and at the same time question everything that is happening even so after so much information rain as our protagonist the film develops splendidly in its 2 hours and 20 minutes, making every scene unforgettable and every interaction with the characters is emotional and creative. I found this movie amazing and it even reminded me a bit of Turning Red being for adults and sci-fi but this is what made it even more special, the development of a bond which seemed to be about to fracture but once again communication was the key to solve it.

Una historia explosiva y alocada que te hace pensar "¿Que clase de película estoy viendo?" Pero la cual va tomando forma a medida que va avanzando, nos sumerge a ver todo lo que pudiera haber pasado si se hubiera tomado cierta decisión por encima de la que se tomó y nos muestra un poco como la vida de nuestra protagonista da un gran giro completo y el cual la hace cuestionarse de si realmente está viviendo la vida que siempre quiso o si solo está viviendo bajo el manto de la monotonía y el estrés de una sociedad que es constantemente una competencia y este sorprendente descubriendo de sus poderes la ayudan a ver que la vida es mucho más que eso, más que la monotonía y la cotidianidad laboral.

Con un increíble despliegue visual y un recorrido psicodelico, todo lleno de color y emoción llena al espectador de emociones a través de los tres actos en este sorprendente viaje de autodescubrimiento y análisis personal, donde podremos incluso llegarnos a cuestionarnos a nosotros mismos y todas nuestras decisiones.

Un increíble despliegue de emociones y de sensaciones, una de mis escenas favoritas fue la del multiverso de las rocas ya que estaba en total silencio pero éstas aún se podían comunicar y siento que la comunicación de ese momento fue sumamente importante, además de la batalla final la cuál no fue a través de golpes sino de palabras, y es increíble la cantidad de momentos tan geniales dentro de esta película, la increíble actuación de nuestros protagonistas, sobretodo de Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ke Huy Quan y de Stephanie Hsu quienes destacaron notablemente en la crítica e incluso fueron premiados por tan gran actuación. Es una de esas películas que no importa cuanto leas de ella debes experimentarla por cuenta propia y definitivamente fue una experiencia increíble verla y tiene muy merecido ser una de las películas más taquilleras del 2022 y tener tantas nominaciones en tantos premios y haber ganado muchos de estos.

Una vez más todo se puede resolver si la otra persona está dispuesta a escuchar el otro lado de la historia, si desea el cambio y la unión, si quiere armonía y amor dentro de ese vínculo y que en ocasiones tendemos a perder y a descartar nuestros sueños solo porque no queremos arruinar expectativas o nos asusta el que podría pasar pero que aún así debemos animarnos a realizar ya que luego nos arrepentiremos y viviremos con el fantasma de ese deseo.

An incredible display of emotions and sensations, one of my favorite scenes was the multiverse of the rocks as it was in total silence but they could still communicate and I feel that the communication of that moment was extremely important, in addition to the final battle which was not through blows but through words, and it is incredible the amount of great moments in this movie, the incredible acting of our protagonists, especially Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Hsu who stood out notably in the critics and were even awarded for such a great performance. It is one of those movies that no matter how much you read about it you must experience it on your own and it was definitely an amazing experience to watch it and it is well deserved to be one of the top grossing movies of 2022 and to have so many nominations in so many awards and to have won many of these.

Once again everything can be solved if the other person is willing to listen to the other side of the story, if they want change and union, if they want harmony and love within that bond and that sometimes we tend to lose and discard our dreams just because we don't want to ruin expectations or we are scared of what could happen but still we should be encouraged to realize it because later we will regret it and live with the ghost of that desire.
