[ESP-ENG] 🎃 Criaturas tenebrosas de los 80´s /// Creepy creatures of the 80's
Si les voy a hablar sobre la pelicula que en un principio se muestra toda tierna y fantasiosa donde un joven recibe de cumpleaños una critatura adorable, pero cuando menos lo espera se reproduce se empieza a crear un caos en la ciudad.
A pesar de ser una pelicula de terror se convierte en comedia, por eso al final es una pelicula atractiva para todo publico, es más yo cuando la vi por primera vez me encanto y tan solo tenia como 8 años de edad.
Yeah I'm going to talk about the movie that at the beginning is all tender and fantasy where a young man receives an adorable creature for Christmas, but when he least expects it, it reproduces and starts to create chaos in the city.
In spite of being a horror movie it turns into a comedy, that's why in the end it's a movie that appeals to all audiences, in fact when I saw it for the first time I loved it and I was only 8 years old.
Los Gremlins
Se trata de una película estadounidense de comedia-terror del año 1984 del Fabuloso Steven Spielberg.
Breve reseña:
Un cientifico viaja a Chinatown en Nueva York por trabajo, luego visita una tienda de un chino anciano donde ve una criatura que pensó en comprarsela a su hijo para navidad, el anciano se negó a venderla ya que es una criatura delicada, pero el nieto del viejo chino escuchó y se la vende para quedarse con el dinero, sin embargo le dijo:
- Luces brillantes lo lastiman y asustan.
- La luz del sol lo mataría
- Jamás darle de beber agua y mucho menos bañarlo.
- Y lo más importante: nunca darle comida después de la medianoche.
El muchacho recibe su regalo y le pone el nombre de "Gizmo". Todo parece ir bien hasta que un amigo de Billy, derrama accidentalmente agua sobre Gizmo, lo que provoca el caos, y la criatura se reproduce. A diferencia de Gizmo, los nuevas criaturas resultan ser agresivas, sobretodo una que le colocan el nombre de rayita y que parece ser el líder de las nuevas criaturas.
Rayita altera el reloj y así engaña a Billy para que le dé de comer después de medianoche, y esto resulta que los monstruos tengan un aspecto horrendo llamados Gremlins, Gizmo es el único que no se convierte gracias a que no quiso comer.
Rayita escapa y entra en una piscina, creando un ejército de Gremlins que se esparcen por toda la ciudad, atacando y matando gente, de muchas formas que mi forma de ver son chistes con humor negro, las criaturas realizan toda la actividad siempre muertos de risa como hienas.
Todos los gremlins se reúnen en el cine local, y se quedan fascinados al ver la película Blancanieves y los siete enanitos. Este es el momento para poder acabar con ellos.
Gremlins
It is a 1984 American comedy-horror film by the Fabulous Steven Spielberg.
Brief review:
A scientist travels to Chinatown in New York for work, then visits an old Chinese man's store where he sees a creature he thought of buying for his son for Christmas, the old man refused to sell it as it is a delicate creature, but the grandson of the old Chinese man listened and sells it to him to keep the money, however he told him:
- Bright lights hurt and scare it.
- Sunlight would kill it
- Never give it water to drink, let alone wet it.
- And most importantly: never give it food after midnight.
The boy receives his gift and names him "Gizmo". All seems to be going well until Billy's friend accidentally spills water on Gizmo, which causes chaos, and the creature reproduces. Unlike Gizmo, the new creatures turn out to be aggressive, especially one named Rayita, who seems to be the leader of the new creatures.
Rayita changes the clock and thus tricks Billy into feeding him after midnight, and this results in themonsters having a horrifying appearance called Gremlins, Gizmo is the only one who is not converted because he did not want to eat.
Rayita escapes and enters a swimming pool, creating an army of Gremlins that spread throughout the city, attacking and killing people in many ways that my way of seeing are jokes with black humor, the creatures perform all the activity always dead laughing like hyenas.
All the gremlins gather at the local cinema, and are fascinated by the movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This is the moment to be able to wipe them out.

Bueno- bueno de verdad no les debo contar más; si adoran este tipo de comedia, fantasia con terror, es corta dura tan solo 106 minutos.
Gremlins fue galardonada en 1985 con varios premios y nominaciones en diferentes certámenes y categorías, especialmente relacionados con la ciencia ficción y el terror.
Gracias a esta película se creó la clasificación PG-13 (mayores de 13 años), pero la película nunca fue recalificada, sino que se quedó con su clasificación como PG ("se recomienda la compañía de un adulto)".
En General,
Es un gran filme para todo público, super entretenida y que además le queda uno esa sensación de mejor tener la luz encendida porque se puede aparecer un Gremlins.
Gremlins was awarded in 1985 with several prizes and nominations in different contests and categories, especially related to science fiction and horror.
Thanks to this film, the PG-13 rating was created, but the film was never requalified, but remained with its PG rating ("adult company recommended").
In General,
It is a great film for all audiences, super entertaining and it also leaves you with the feeling that you better keep the lights on because a Gremlins might show up.

Excelente comedia del director Joe Dante, producida por Steven Spielberg, con momentos de terror y situaciones muy macabras. La segunda vez que la ví fue con amigos en el cine Radio City, estaba ubicado en Sabana Grande. El cine estaba lleno de muchos niños, lo que me extraño dado el tono de la película, y estos seres hicieron una aparición especial en la pantalla, los niños gritaban mira igual que la película los Gremlins. Mis amigos y yo nos mirabamos a la cara y si nos reiamos, pero a los cinco minutos nos salimos del cine!!. No eran Gremlins, eran ratas gigantescas!!!. Además, la pelicula genero una serie de imitaciones, una peor que la otra: los Critters, (bueno esta no es tan mala), los Ghoulies, los Munchies, y muchas otras. Todos los diciembres veo esta película acompañandola de su corrosiva y genial segunda parte.
