Un relato de terror sobre un esposo que mata a su mejor no tiene nada de especial, pero si además de eso les digo que es una historia escrita por stephen King entonces hay comienza a llamar la atención, es que la historia en si es muy simplemente, pero es el desarrollo sutil de cada acción lo que hace que se vuelva una historia interesante, llena de giros cada vez más oscuros, una historia con un tono gris y a veces cruel donde el infortunio está a la vuelta de la esquina, los personajes se te quedan pegados en la retina, se vuelven de forma automática bastante amados y odiados a la vez.

El brillo mas fuerte de esta película es en sus actuaciones, y el guion, es cuando dices que increíble historia, es verdad que toma su tiempo para desarrollar a los personajes, pero cuando por fi todo el conflicto inicias es cuando realmente te quedas perplejo de la naturalidad de la historia, de cómo los pequeños matices en la trama se vuelven tan profundos, que cada parte del mismo filme funciona de manera perfecta, y aparte de todo la historia esta narrada desde el presente del protagonista, así que todo lo que vemos es una confesión de el, esto tras poder parecer algo que le quitara sorpresa a la película es algo que nos adentra mejor en el personaje.
