La trilogía anterior de esta franquicia puedo decir que era puro cine, Y la verdad es que está cuarto película creaba mucha expectativa, Pero lo bueno es que es algo completamente, si bien agarra fragmentos o continúa de cierta forma la historia de la trilogía anterior, esta historia se encarga de demostrar, como el mito de César, ese gran simio se convierte en algo cultural y casi religioso para los simios, cada uno afrontando lo de diferente forma, esto ocasiona una crítica social bastante interesante sobre la religión en nuestro mundo.

Eso sí los efectos especiales siguen siendo impresionantes especialmente la captura de movimiento, el guion de la película puede percibirse un poco lento, muy parecido a lo que ofreció la primera película de esta franquicia, pero en parte es porque la misma busca sentar las bases por una nueva trilogía, creo que lo más interesante de la película es cómo se desarrollan los personajes y que no terminas realmente entendiendo quién es malo quién es bueno cuando en realidad todo se maneja en tonos muy grises.

El desarrollo de este nuevo mundo para los simios, puedo decir qué es lo equivalente como al imperio de los romano pero con toques post apocalípticos, incluso los mismos simios demostrando el desarrollo social que pueden tener más acelerado que los propios seres humanos, la historia es sumamente interesante y en mi opinión personal si da para una trilogía, si por miedo a que les haya gustado demasiado la anterior trilogía decidieron no ver esta la verdad es que recomiendo darle una oportunidad, Eso sí con la expectativa que está la par de lo que fue la primera película, ya que recuerden la misma es una especie de historia de origen.
