Una película animada que hace referencia a estas clásicas películas de los 70 80 principalmente de los años 80, saben que trata la trama de un niño se encuentra con un alien un monstruo se hacen amigos y viven aventuras, algo parecido a lo que fue e.t, bueno esta película busca hacer referencia a todo eso pero dándole un toque de fantasía bastante propio y tal vez algo realista, Porque si bien la niña protagonista sí se hace amigo de esta criatura la realidad es que no deja de ser una criatura salvaje en varios momentos de la película te lo hacen ver, esto es un detalle interesante porque esto no quita el hecho de que la niña quiera volver la criatura a su hogar pero a su vez también conlleva Que bueno hay una dificultad No es simplemente un animal adorable con el cual puedes compartir por momentos sí hay momentos de ternura pero también por momentos sientes el lado salvaje de la criatura eso sí en ningún momento esperen que se convierta en un filme de terror no deja de ser una película de aventuras y fantasías.
