Esta película la vi cuando era apenas una niña y le tenía recuerdos muy bonitos a la misma y por eso me preocupaba volver a verla por qué cosas que uno las recuerda con mucha nostalgia y cuando uno las vuelve a ver resulta que no eran tan buenas como parecía pero me llegó una grata sorpresa porque la película era mejor de lo que recordaba eso si no deja de ser una película con un estilo muy de televisión o muy noventero, Pero sigue siendo una película sumamente entretenida que hasta el sol de hoy puede llegar a gustarte incluso Me atrevo a decir que parte de la trama de la película de Barbie la sacaron de esta película.

I saw this movie when I was just a little girl and had very fond memories of it, which is why I was worried about seeing it again, because sometimes you remember things with a lot of nostalgia and when you see them again, they turn out not to be as good as you thought, but I was pleasantly surprised because the movie was better than I remembered, even though it's still a very TV-style movie, very 90s. But it's still a very entertaining movie that you might even like today. I dare say that part of the plot of the Barbie movie was taken from this movie.

Eso sí tiene un punto muy en contra que a pesar de que solamente dura una hora y media la película te puede parecer bastante larga casi que durará dos horas pero no llega a ser aburrida y sí notarás un poco de machismo en muchas escenas Pero esto no lo digo de manera mala me auténticamente igual me dieron risa esas escenas pero hoy en día te resultaría extraño que te pongan eso en alguna película si logran volver a verla la verdad es que se darán cuenta rápidamente de las escenas que les estoy planteando, el personaje de Lindsay Lohan lo recordaba más protagónico pero en un momento la verdad es que la muñeca y el padre de ella son los que toman completamente el protagonismo en toda la película.

There is one major drawback, though: even though the film only lasts an hour and a half, it can seem quite long, almost as if it lasts two hours, but it's not boring, and you will notice a bit of machismo in many scenes. But I don't mean this in a bad way; I genuinely found those scenes funny, but nowadays you would find it strange to see that in a film. If you get to see it again, you will quickly realize quickly notice the scenes I'm referring to. I remembered Lindsay Lohan's character as being more of a protagonist, but at one point, the truth is that the doll and her father completely take center stage throughout the film.

Tampoco que se le puede exigir mucho a una película que mayormente estaba enfocada para la televisión y la verdad solamente quería capitalizar el éxito que en ese momento estaba teniendo Lindsay Lohan de niña, Pero nuevamente creo que si quieren ver una película sencilla divertida que puedan verla incluso como algo de fondo simplemente para divertirse mientras están reunidos la verdad es que la recomiendo muchísimo y para hacer una película de mi infancia que creí que la verdad iba a estar malísima que la recordaba con demasiada nostalgia la verdad es que sí es bastante buena.

Nor can you expect much from a film that was mainly aimed at television and really just wanted to capitalize on the success that Lindsay Lohan was having as a child at the time. But again, I think if you want to see a simple, fun movie that you can watch even as background noise just to have fun while you're hanging out, I highly recommend it. And for a movie from my childhood that I thought was going to be terrible because I remembered it with too much nostalgia, it's actually pretty good.
