SWEET TOOTH, a beautiful world with HYBRIDS.
I got bored and decided to search through the Internet for any interesting series I could watch. I have formed the habit of reading movie summaries before watching to avoid wasting my data and that simple trick helps me a lot when choosing a movie to watch.
I stumbled on a movie, I didn't get to read the summary first but the poster got my attention. There is this young boy on the poster with a deer horn, isn't that attractive. It looks somehow and I was eager to see what happened and how he grew the horn because he looked like an angel, he looks really pretty and I don't want to believe he is evil with the horn.
Without reading the summary or seeing the trailer, I downloaded all the available episodes of the series and started watching.
The movie is titled "SWEET TOOTH"
The title sounds funny and you would think that it is something that has lots of comedy in it but it wasn't all about comedy, the series showed me how beautiful the world would like with hybrids among us.
What is the movie about?
Sweet tooth is about the story of hybrids, how some people (scientists) believe that they could help the world by bringing hybrids into existence.
While some people thought they were what the world needs to heal, another set of cruel people needed them for experiments to make a cure for a virus that was tearing the world apart.
The movie was actually centered around a boy who was half-human and half deer, he was raised in the forest by the man he believed to be his father.
His guardian cut off his connection with the outside world just to protect the boy with the horn from the evil that walks among men but the man died along the line and surviving alone in the forest became difficult because there were people who were out there hunting for his kind.
He met with an ex hunter who agrees to help the little boy locate his mom that was living in the destroyed world after lots of troubles from the boy. All he had was her picture but he was determined to reunite with her and have a beautiful life.
They embarked on the journey but encountered lots of challenges, did they survive?
That's an adventure you shouldn't miss out on, there are lots of lessons learned in the movie and the movie has made me ask myself that what would the world look like having hybrids among us.
In my case, it would be beautiful. They might look scary but trust me when I say that they are adorable.
