This is going to be one short movie review because I don't know where to start reviewing all the garbage they piled up in this sequel. The first part was more or less ok, but the second one doesn't make any sense.

To be honest, I was looking forward to it, because I thought you know, first might just be an intro to something better, the second will do it... I was like...

Anyways. let's make short intro to it and then to the review.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a 2021 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel and Tencent Pictures. Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is the second film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) and the sequel to Venom (2018).

Directed by: Andy Serkis
Written by: Kelly Marcel (screenplay), Tom Hardy (story), Todd McFarlane & David Michelinie (Venom character creators)
Starring: Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham & Peggy Lu.

Venom, which is an ultimate being is represented to be an absolute asshole and not the asshole in a grand way, just some alien organism, almost a pet who behaves erratically and without anything provoked.

For some reason also it can't adjust to a more or less normal diet, so it has to eat BRAINS. I mean that is an alien that adjusts to appropriate host, it should have a sensitive capability to eat some decent food. At least that.

Trailer starts with obvious rule: No eating people. And that the whole mess with the breakfast preparation. That doesn't make any sense. It is like a housewife from hell. And hero is damn married to this one. The voice of the villain is completely disturbing. By the way, the trailer is better than the movie. Pretty much the whole movie is printed in it, you are not losing any details.

There is also a second official trailer, hoping to make things better.

The second trailer is more oriented to a bad guy, it is a bit better but still not enough. Here is one solid movie review about this sequel and it will give you a pretty picture what I mean.

I hope you had fun watching if you watched it, but I am not pleased with the overall feel. Actors are OK, but the whole thing put together is just not it.
