“Sound of freedom”/Review and opinion[ESP/ENG]
Saludos hivers amantes del cine, les cuento que el día de hoy se me juntaron, como dice la canción; la suerte con las ganas de ver una de las películas que está dando mucho de que hablar, dado el tema tan delicado e interesante que trae a la gran pantalla, la cual ha hecho explotar ante la aceptación de la audiencia y aunque en mi país aún no ha sido estrenado dicho rodaje, hoy logre ver esta espectacular película llamada “Sound of freedom”.
Greetings hivers movie lovers, I tell you that today I got together, as the song says; luck with the desire to see one of the movies that is giving much to talk about, given the delicate and interesting subject that brings to the big screen, which has exploded with the acceptance of the audience and although in my country has not yet been released the filming, today I managed to see this spectacular film called "Sound of freedom".
Esta es una de las películas que todo el mundo debería ver, porque lamentablemente vivimos en una sociedad inescrupulosa, muchos padres de familia se ocupan de más y dejan a los chicos a cargo de personas que escasamente conocen o simplemente permiten que los niños salgan a las calles sin supervisión de un adulto, exponiéndose a los peligros del día. Dicho rodaje está basado en hechos reales, por lo que contiene escenas fuertes protagonizadas por menores de edad.
This is one of the movies that everyone should see, because unfortunately we live in an unscrupulous society, many parents take care of more and leave children in charge of people they barely know or simply allow children to go out in the streets without adult supervision, exposing them to the dangers of the day. The film is based on real events and therefore contains strong scenes starring minors.
Tim Ballard, es un agente federal encargado de rescatar a un niño de las garras de traficantes inescrupulosos, este a su vez se entera de que la hermana mayor del pequeño, también se encuentra en manos de la red despiadada, así que Tim siente la terrible necesidad de adentrarse en la peligrosa misión para salvar la vida de la niña. Así que este viaja a diferentes países donde realiza contactos con diferentes personas que pueden ayudarle a llegar hasta la peligrosa red traficante, a lo largo de la búsqueda se entera de que son muchos niños los que están en cautiverio por lo que se dedica a rescatarlos hasta llegar a la persona encargada de reclutar a los menores y es así como obtiene la información acerca del paradero de la niña que busca.
Tim Ballard, is a federal agent in charge of rescuing a child from the clutches of unscrupulous traffickers, this in turn learns that the older sister of the child, is also in the hands of the ruthless network, so Tim feels the terrible need to enter the dangerous mission to save the life of the girl. So he travels to different countries where he makes contacts with different people who can help him reach the dangerous trafficking network, along the search he learns that there are many children who are in captivity so he is dedicated to rescue them until he reaches the person in charge of recruiting children and that is how he gets the information about the whereabouts of the girl he is looking for.
Entonces Tim se propone el peligroso reto de llegar hasta lo más profundo de la selva colombiana para rescatar a la pequeña, por lo que se hace pasar por un médico que va a ayudar a los enfermos del lugar y así es como llega a la peligrosa selva donde debe poner en práctica sus habilidades como agente federal para poder salvar a la pequeña e inocente niña de la maldad de un temible hombre que la hizo su prisionera. Al final de todo, Tim Ballard logra rescatar a la niña y devolverla a su hogar, donde la espera con ansias su pequeño hermano, quien también fue víctima de los malvados pedófilos.
So Tim sets himself the dangerous challenge of reaching deep into the Colombian jungle to rescue the little girl, so he poses as a doctor who is going to help the sick people of the place and that is how he reaches the dangerous jungle where he must put into practice his skills as a federal agent in order to save the innocent little girl from the evil of a fearsome man who made her his prisoner. At the end of it all, Tim Ballard manages to rescue the girl and return her to her home, where her little brother, who was also a victim of the evil pedophiles, is eagerly awaiting her.
Esta triste historia es sumamente conmovedora, que pone a flote sentimientos de ira, tristeza, impotencia y desesperación al ver en escena tanta crueldad por parte de personas que actúan sin detenerse a pensar que están acabando con la inocencia de pequeños inocentes a los que les cambiara la vida por completo, hay muchas escenas que son totalmente perturbadoras y llegan a ser desesperantes, más cuando se tienen hijos y se sabe lo que se siente una amenaza.
This sad story is extremely moving, which brings up feelings of anger, sadness, helplessness and despair to see on stage so much cruelty by people who act without stopping to think that they are ending the innocence of innocent children whose lives will change completely, there are many scenes that are totally disturbing and become desperate, especially when you have children and you know what a threat feels like.
Dichas escenas muestran la realidad de lo que pueden hacer quienes se dedican al tráfico sexual de menores, se ve claramente la crueldad, la mente enferma y siniestra que no posee piedad alguna; y mientras todo eso ocurre en la pantalla, el asiento se convierte en la incomodidad más grande que se puedan imaginar al ver todo lo que sucede sobre todo esos rostros llenos de miedos que piden ayudan a gritos ante la amenazante violencia su inocencia.
These scenes show the reality of what can be done by those who engage in sex trafficking of minors, the cruelty is clearly seen, the sick and sinister mind that has no mercy; and while all this happens on the screen, the seat becomes the greatest discomfort you can imagine to see everything that happens especially those faces full of fears that cry out for help before the threatening violence of their innocence.
No existe nada peor para un padre que ver a un niño en peligro, porque eso nos lleva a pensar en nuestros propios hijos, en mi caso fue inevitable que una ola de calor se apoderara de mí, la respiración se acortara con frecuencia y las lágrimas no las pude contener al observar tanta maldad a través de redes de tráfico sexual infantil, que es el tema principal de este rodaje; algo que muchos han querido mantener bajo perfil, pero esta película aun cuando no cuenta con el apoyo empresarial necesario, lo pone todo al descubierto.
There is nothing worse for a parent than seeing a child in danger, because that makes us think of our own children, in my case it was inevitable that a wave of heat took over me, my breathing shortened frequently and I could not hold back the tears as I watched so much evil through child sex trafficking networks, which is the main theme of this film; something that many have wanted to keep low profile, but this film even though it does not have the necessary corporate support, it lays it all bare.
Para muchos, tal vez no sea tan importante tema o tan buena película, pero la realidad es que es una tremenda historia que merece estar en todas las pantallas del mundo entero y arrasar con todos los premios a la mejor película, al mejor escritor, los mejores actores; en fin la mejor en todo por el simple hecho de abordar un tema sumamente necesario para la sociedad.
For many, it may not be such an important subject or such a good film, but the reality is that it is a tremendous story that deserves to be on every screen in the world and sweep all the awards for best film, best writer, best actors; in short, the best in everything for the simple fact of addressing a subject that is extremely necessary for society.
La crudeza en cada escena para mí es necesaria a manera de que el público y en especial los padres de familias se mantengan alertas ante el peligro que corren los niños y así poder evitar una pesadilla para toda la familia.
The crudeness in each scene is necessary for me so that the audience and especially the parents can be alert to the danger that the children are in and thus avoid a nightmare for the whole family.
“Sound of freedom” o “Sonido de libertad”, es una película que vale la pena ver y para ello, les recomiendo armarse de valor y evitar que el llanto o la ira se apodere de ustedes para así poder llegar hasta el final de la película. Pocas veces veo este tipo de rodajes porque me causan demasiada inquietud y escasamente tolero ese tipo de escenas tan cruel, pero como sé que es la realidad de millones de familias en el mundo entero, sentí la inmensa necesidad de respirar profundo y ver la interpretación de cada uno de los personajes, que por cierto estuvieron impecables y los diferentes escenarios son muy adecuados a la historia, para mí todo estuvo muy acorde con el tema, por lo que la recomiendo al 100% dado que Sonido de libertad es más de lo que se ve a simple vista.

"Sound of freedom" or "Sonido de libertad", is a film worth watching and for that, I recommend you to be brave and avoid crying or anger to take hold of you so you can get to the end of the film. I rarely see this type of filming because they cause me too much anxiety and I hardly tolerate such cruel scenes, but as I know that it is the reality of millions of families around the world, I felt the immense need to take a deep breath and see the interpretation of each of the characters, which by the way were impeccable and the different scenarios are very appropriate to the story, for me everything was very consistent with the theme, so I recommend it 100% because Sound of Freedom is more than what meets the eye.

Hola @giocondina, sin palabras. Vi la película y no tuve que esperar el final para soltar lagrimal, desde el inicio me pareció fuerte. Es verdad, todos deben ver esta película. No podemos esperar que los organismos se encarguen de este tipo de delito dada la alta corrupción y alianzas. La tarea es para cada padre y para cada madre. Cada familia debe ocuparse. Esta es una de las películas que quiero ver, su argumento es muy poderosa y manda un mensaje claro. Lo único lamentable es que se ha politizado y no ha podido llegar a mucha gente, pero es un éxito rotundo en EEUU.
En cuanto a lo que sostienes, concuerdo en que son hechos aberrantes.
Realmente es lamentable que esten tratando de que esta historia no llegue a todas las pantallas, la corrupcion que existe al respecto es demasiada.
He escuchado de esta película pero no he podido verla, aunque soy como tú y no me gusta mucho este tipo de pelicula porque sufro con ellas. Pero trataré de verla.

Creo que más allá de la trama, cinematográficamente Sound of Freedom cumple. Y es una medida justa de su impacto en el cine. Si bien, la trama hace que sea limitada su proyección, no menos cierto es que entra dentro del género de thriller, y yo lo valoraría como: "cumplidora". Igualmente, muy buena tu reseña.
