Go woke, go broke ???

Many are now talking about Disney's new action film inspired by the famous 1937 animated movie, Snow White, which predates World War II. A lot has happened since then, and ideologies have changed, and today, it can be said without a doubt that political correctness and social justice prevail.

Hollywood seems particularly plagued by these ideologies. It appears that every film released in recent decades must include ideological lectures or messages, replacing the gender of protagonists, their ethnic background, or their sexual orientation. This has given rise to the phrase "go woke, go broke," suggesting that when film productions (and in truth, this extends to many sectors of the Western economic world) attempt to forcefully or excessively embrace progressive or politically correct social themes, they risk alienating their traditional audience and experiencing significant financial losses.

Now, what I'm about to share are rumors, so take them with a grain of salt, but it seems that the film, set to be released in 2024, will have the following characteristics:

In short, this new Snow White of 2023 is "empowered," following the prevailing feminist ideology in our society. She doesn't need a prince charming, that repulsive heterosexual white male oppressor, and she will save herself.

The prince charming is downgraded to a "dwarf," actually becoming an eighth dwarf, not a prince, to avoid classism and offend those who are less affluent.

Even the dwarfs disappear because they could offend those with dwarfism and would be seen as racist if they were all depicted as white. Instead, they become a group of eight protagonists of all colors, genders, and orientations, each with special "powers."

I don't know if the evil witch will be present, but it seems like an offensive character. Hopefully, it will be portrayed as a man, a malevolent sorcerer, perhaps with orange hair, and named "Donald" 😀.

It reminds me a lot of the 2016 film "Ghostbusters," a reboot of the famous franchise with an all-female cast, which was presented as an opportunity to promote female empowerment and diversity but ended up being a financial flop at the box office (and there are many examples like this). This underscores that the "go woke, go broke" issue is current, and the general public is increasingly distancing itself from the antiquated flop-factory named HOLLYWOOD. Moreover, people are tired of being preached to by powerful rich individuals who decide what you can and cannot think.

Ne stanno parlando in molti oramai, del nuovo action film della Disney che si ispira al famosissimo film d'animazione del 1937, Snow White (Biancaneve) quindi prima della Seconda guerra mondiale.
Ne è passata di acqua sotto i ponti da allora, e sopratutto sono cambiate le ideologie, e oggi ,lo possiamo dire senza dubbi, trionfa il politicamente corretto e il giustizialismo sociale.

Hollywood sembra particolarmente afflitta da queste ideologie, sembra che ogni film che esce, da qualche decennio a questa parte, debba fare la ramanzina o un pippotto ideologico, sostituendo il sesso dei protagonisti, o l'etnia di origina, o l'orientamento sessuale, tanto che è nata la frase "go woke, go broke", quando le produzioni cinematografiche (ma in verità coinvolge tanti settori del mondo economico occidentale) cercano di abbracciare in maniera forzata o eccessiva temi sociali progressisti o politicamente corretti, rischiano di alienare il loro pubblico tradizionale e subire perdite finanziarie significative.

Ora , queste che vi riporto sono indiscrezioni, quindi prendetele con le pinze, però dai rumors sembrerebbe che il film, in uscita il 2024, avrà queste caratterstiche:

Insomma, questa nuova Biancaneve del 2023, è "empowered" come detta l'ideologia femminista imperante nella nostra società, non ha bisogno del principe azzurro , schifosissimo maschio bianco etero oppressore, e si salverà da sola.

Il principe azzurro viene declassato a "nano", e diventa difatti un ottavo nano non principe, perchè altrimenti è classista e offende chi è socialmente meno abbiente.

E spariscono anche i nani, perchè offendono chi è diversamente abile e nato con nanismo, e poi sarebbe razzista che siano tutti bianchi, quindi diventa un'armata di 8 protagonisti di tutti i colori, tutti i sessi, tutti gli orientamenti, ciascuno con speciali "poteri".

Non so se ci sarà la strega cattiva, però mi sembra molto offensiva come figura , spero che sia un uomo, uno stregone cattivo, magari con i capelli arancioni, e che si chiami "Donald" 😀

Comunque mi ricorda molto il film del 2016 "Ghostbusters", un reboot del famoso franchise con un cast interamente femminile che è stato presentato come un'opportunità per promuovere l'empowerment femminile e la diversità, ma ai botteghini è stato un flop finanziario ( e di questi esempi ce ne sono tantissimi), rimarcando che il "go woke, go broke" è un problema attuale, e che il grande pubblico si sta allontanando sempre di più da quel vetusto carrozzone spara-flop di nome HOLLYWOOD e soprattutto, è stanco di farsi fare la morale da dei potentissimi ricconi che devono decidere cosa puoi, e non puoi pensare.
