"Los Otros" es un thriller psicológico estrenado en el año 2001, dirigido por Alejandro Amenábar y protagonizado por Nicole Kidman. La historia se lleva a cabo en la isla de Jersey, en el año 1945, durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, y sigue la vida de Grace Stewart, una madre que vive en una mansión con sus dos hijos, quienes sufren de una extraña enfermedad que los hace sensibles a la luz solar. Giro Argumental y Final // Plot Twist and Ending

El giro argumental nos revela que Grace y sus hijos en realidad están muertos y que los "otros" a los que ellos temían eran los vivos, quienes vivían la casa después de la muerte de la familia, también se revela que Grace había asesinado a sus propios hijos y se suicidó en un momento de desesperación, creyendo que estaban siendo perseguidos por seres del más allá. El final tan inesperado cambia radicalmente la percepción del público y añade un nivel más profundo de significado a la historia.
