Hello, Hive artists!

Yesterday I was bored and felt like drawing something, so I started looking for inspiration on Pinterest and this is what came out:

A portrait of Cillian Murphy playing Oppenheimer in the movie that came out recently. Here I'll leave the process, I hope you like it a lot.

PROCESS

- I started doing the pencil sketch, actually I did it very fast. I didn't use an eraser.

- I chose a random color for outlining and drawing shading. The chosen one was blue and I feel it was a good decision, because the image reflected sadness and was in cold tones.

- At the moment of shading I tried to make it similar to the image and I think I achieved it to a certain extent, because although it was not perfect, I feel I played well with the shadows and lights.

Pros and cons

- Regarding the torso and the face (taking out the parts of the face), I think I achieved what I wanted.

- I feel that I have to improve in each of the parts of the face, but also keep in mind that it was a quick sketch. However, it is a point to consider.

- I liked the costume, but it could be much better.

Ayer estaba aburrida y me apetecía dibujar algo, así que me puse a buscar inspiración en Pinterest y esto fue lo que salió:

Un retrato de Cillian Murphy haciendo el papel de Oppenheimer en la película que salió hace poco. Aquí les dejo el proceso, espero que les guste mucho.

PROCESO

- Empecé a hacer el boceto a lápiz, en realidad lo hice muy rápido. No usé goma de borrar.

- Elegí un color al azar para contornear y sombrear el dibujo. El elegido fue el azul y creo que fue una buena decisión, porque la imagen reflejaba tristeza y era en tonos fríos.

- A la hora de sombrear intenté que se pareciera a la imagen y creo que lo conseguí hasta cierto punto, porque aunque no quedó perfecto, siento que jugué bien con las sombras y las luces.

Pros y contras

- En cuanto al torso y la cara (quitando las partes de la cara), creo que he conseguido lo que quería.

- Siento que tengo que mejorar en cada una de las partes de la cara, pero también hay que tener en cuenta que fue un boceto rápido. Sin embargo, es un punto a tener en cuenta.

- El traje me gustó, pero podría ser mucho mejor.
