I am describing this movie review according to my view on it. Because others also might have different perspectives on it. However, I will give it my best and honest review.

All the way back from 2015 to 2019, there has been a Daredevil series. But adding the “Born Again” marvel, they have decided to call it a season 1, but as a longtime fan of the original series, I treat it as a continuous rather than a true reboot.

But in early 2025, the story took a turn with my favorite lawyer and vigilante, Matt Murdock. I can also see Karen Page. And at the beginning of the season, Matt's best friend was killed by assassin Bullseye while they were in a club celebrating one of Matt's courtroom wins. And due to this, Matt stopped being a daredevil and continued his life.

But unfortunately, Wilson Fisk, a kingpin, won the election and became the mayor, and at this point, retirement felt impossible for Matt because throughout the rest of the season, Matt, who happens to be blind yet functioning well, was faced with challenges from Mayor Fisk, and both of them had no choice but to spend the remaining season wrestling with the darker version of themselves that they are trying to outrun.

Already, in the old series, both were two old enemies, but in the new series, they made it obvious and clear, which made them to be circling each other through courtrooms and city hall instead of alleyways.

And a serial killer known as Muse was introduced into the series, which led Daredevil (Matt) to resume his vigilante duty properly because Muse was terrorizing the city midseason.
Some analysts believed that the central push and pull did not resolve into something deeper than a simple statement that corruption is bad.

The overall analytical summarized opinion is that watching the first nine episodes in season one, there should be more than just one actual superhero action and just a few courtroom encounters, even when it comes to applauding the whole violence and performance that remained.

But to me, it was very satisfying to watch, a strong performance. And perhaps if you have seen the original, you can easily relate to the new season... and if at all you have not, it's still a good watch.
