Greetings my #hive people in the @cinetv community, lovers of the seventh art. This week I will be participating in the #86 contest with a movie where Morgan Freeman works as co-star, it has the original title: "The shawshank redemption" and here in Venezuela we know it as: "Sueños de fuga" from 1994.

Saludos mi gente de #hive en la comunidad de @cinetv, amantes del séptimo arte. Esta semana estaré paticipando en el concurso #86 con una película donde Morgan Freeman trabaja como co-protagonista, lleva por título original: "The shawshank redemption" y acá en Venezuela la conocimos como: "Sueños de fuga" del año 1994.

To talk about Morgan Freeman is to talk about an actor with an enviable career in the film career. I confess that I have seen many movies where he has worked and the truth is that he always stands out with his performance due to his qualities, that is why I consider him as one of my favorite actors. He is an actor with a gentle character that inspires respect in those who listen to him, a deep but clear voice and he is able to say things in a unique way.

In most or maybe in all the movies I have seen of his, he always plays respectable characters, scientists, detectives, doctors, president or prisoners, as in this case, that require a human and simple personality that always hooks people for the charisma he gives to each character he plays.

Hablar de Morgan Freeman es hablar de un actor con una trayectoria envidiable en la carrera cinematográfica. Les confieso que he visto muchas películas donde ha trabajado y la verdad es que siempre se destaca con su actuación debido a sus cualidades, por eso lo catalogo como uno de mis actores favoritos. Es un actor con un carácter apacible pero que inspira respeto a quienes lo escuchan, una voz grave pero clara y que acierta a decir las cosas de una manera única.
En la mayoría o quizá en todas las películas que he visto de él siempre actúa en papeles de personajes respetables, científicos, detectives, médicos, presidente o presos, como en este caso, que requieren de una personalidad humana y sencilla que siempre engancha a la gente por el carisma que imprime a cada pèrsonaje que interpreta.

Speaking of the film I have selected, Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is sentenced to two life sentences, accused of murdering his wife and her lover, having found them in their residence in the unfaithful act. However, Andy is completely innocent but cannot prove his innocence, landing in prison destined to spend the rest of his life behind bars.

There he meets Red (Morgan Freeman), a prisoner about to be pardoned but always denied his acquittal for some small detail and in whom he gets support to cope with the hell he lives inside the prison.

Hablando de la película que he seleccionado, Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) es condenado a dos cadenas perpetuas, acusado de haber asesinado a su esposa y al amante de ésta, al encontrarlos en su residencia en el acto infiel. Sin embargo, Andy es completamente inocente pero no puede demostrar su inocencia, cayendo en prisión destinado a pasar el resto de su vida tras las rejas.
Alli conoce Red (Morgan Freeman), un preso a punto de ser perdonado pero que siempre le negaban su absolución por algún pequeño detalle y en quien consigue apoyo para sobrellevar el infierno que vive dentro del penal.

Needless to say, Freeman and Robbins' performance is phenomenal, as they become good friends amidst the corrupt and dark environment of that prison. The character of Red could have been played by another actor, but I doubt that his performance would be equal or better than Freeman's. Not because of the character itself, but because Freeman's performance is so good. Not because of the character itself, but because Freeman, with his gentle but determined attitude, gives him the required touch of humanity.

Demás está decirles que la actuación de Freeman y Robins es fenomenal, pues se convierten en buenos amigos en medio del ambiente corrupto y tenebroso de esa prisión. El personaje de Red lo pudo haber hecho otro actor, pero dudo que su desempeño sea igual o mejor que el de Freeman. No por el personaje en sí, sino porque Freeman con su actitud apacible pero decidida, le da el toque de humanidad requerida.

If I were to meet and deal with Morgan in person one day, I think that his personality in real life would not be very different from that of his characters. I imagine him as a calm, intelligent, honest person, fond of reading, a good family man and an excellent friend. It is possible that I am wrong about some of his qualities but not all of them.

The vision I have of him I have drawn thanks to the similarity of the characters he has played. I have not seen drastic changes in his character as happens with other actors like John Travolta or Jack Nicholson, who play roles of different personality types.

Si me tocara algún día conocer y tratar a Morgan en persona, pienso que su personalidad en la vida real no sería muy diferente a la de sus personajes. Me lo imagino como una persona tranquila, inteligente, honesta, aficionado a la lectura, buen padre de familia y excelente amigo. Es posible que me equivoque en alguna de sus cualidades pero no en todas.
Esa visión que tengo de él la he dibujado gracias a la similitud de los personajes que ha interpretado. No le he visto cambios drásticos en el carácter como pasa con otros actores como John Travolta o Jack Nicholson, que interpretan papeles de diferentes tipos de personalidad.

In reference to the film, I can recommend it with all propriety because of the quality of the performances and because it seems to me a very interesting plot that can happen to anyone. The reality of prisons is not very different worldwide, the corrupt system that controls the prisons makes innocent people to be condemned without remedy, while the real culprits are at large thanks to the favors received.

En referencia a la película, puedo recomendarla con toda propiedad por la calidad de las actuaciones y porque me parece una trama muy interesante que puede ocurrirle a cualquier persona. La realidad de las cárceles no es muy diferente a nivel mundial, el sistema corrupto que controla las cárceles hace que personas inocentes sean condenadas sin remedio, mientras los verdaderos culpables andan sueltos gracias a los favores recibidos.
