Saludos amigos cinéfilos amantes del buen cine de la comunidad de @moviestvshows, hoy quiero unirme al concurso de películas ambientadas en la navidad, propuesto por la comunidad y para ello les traigo la reseña y mi opinión sobre la película while you were sleeping, protagonizada por Sandra Bullock y Bill Pullman del año 1995.

Te plot/ La trama

Lucy (Sandra Bullock), plays a humble worker who is in charge of selling tickets at a Chicago subway ticket office. Every day she sees an attractive gentleman named Peter (Peter Gallagher), and one day after paying for his ticket, he is assaulted and suffers an accident on the subway tracks. Lucy rushes to save him and succeeds, but the young man is left in a coma in the hospital.

Peter's relatives mistake Lucy as his girlfriend and future wife. The confusion continues throughout the film and Peter's family invites her to spend Christmas with them. It is there where she meets Jack (Bill Pullman) Peter's brother and to whom she begins to feel attracted.

El tiempo de navidad es propicio para una buena historia de amor y este es el caso de la historia que protagonizan Lucy y Jack. Podría llamarse una comedia romántica, género no muy taquillero en la industria cinematográfica pero que en este caso se trata de una historia bien tratada con diálogos muy cuidados, con una buena dosis de humor y de drama y con personajes cuyas convincentes actuaciones, hacen de la historia un verdadero clásico del amor y el romanticismo.

La historia de Lucy puede ser verdadera. Ella es una mujer solitaria, huérfana que vive con su gato y que está acostumbrada a pasar la navidad trabajando. Por esta razón cuando Lucy comienza a compartir con la familia de Peter, se da cuenta lo bonito de pertenecer a una familia donde los miembros se quieren y se ayudan mutuamente.
En la película se ve esta interacción entre los familiares, se estimula el sentimiento de cooperación entre sus miembros y la importancia que tiene cada persona dentro del núcleo familiar.
Por eso es importante mantener los lazos familiares muy activos. Aunque en la actualidad resultan difíciles las reuniones familiares que acostubrábamos hacer en el pasado, motivado al éxodo de las personas, sobretodo jóvenes, a otros lugares del planeta y que ha disgregado a las familias.

The idea is to invite a person who we know does not have to return the favor and thus it becomes a work of true charity.

Lucy begins to feel that solidarity and that familiar warmth unknown to her and so she decides to keep the misunderstanding that led her to that situation.

In the film, the beautiful feelings of love and fraternity are mixed, but we also see the purity of Lucy's heart manifested by her honesty and good feelings.

En navidad es importante buscar el calor humano, estimular la caridad y el compartir. Por ejemplo, si invitamos a cenar a una persona que sabemos nos devolverá el gesto en cualquier momento , no tiene gracia. La idea es invitar a una persona que sabemos que no tiene para devolvernos el favor y así se convierte en una obra de verdadera caridad.
Lucy comienza a sentir esa solidaridad y ese calor familiar desconocido para ella y por eso decide mantener el malentendido que la llevó a esa situación.
En la película se mezclan los sentimientos bonitos de amor y fraternidad, pero también se ve la pureza del corazón de Lucy manifestado por su honestidad y buenos sentimientos.

Very outstanding performances, especially that of Bullock who introduces us to her character full of beautiful feelings and who, despite being a lonely woman, demonstrates high values that make her beautiful both inside and out.

Highly recommended to have a good time and stimulate those feelings of friendship, solidarity and mutual help.

Una película que muestra un drama de amor pero basado en el amor verdadero, demostrando que puede surgir en cualquier momento y con la persona menos esperada.
Actuaciones muy destacadas, sobretodo la de Bullock que nos introduce en su personaje cargado de bonitos sentimientos y que, a pesar de ser una mujer solitaria, demuestra poseer altos valores que la hacen hermosa tanto por fuera como por dentro.
Altamente recomendada para pasar un buen rato y estimular esos sentimientos de amistad, solidaridad y ayuda mutua.
