Resulta que el día viernes 29 de junio me invitaron a la sede la iglesia Las Buenas Nuevas a disfrutar de una hermosa película, se trató de una producción llamada “Si solo pudiera imaginar” es una historia de la vida real, que sin duda nos deja una gran enseñanza.

Si solo pudiera imaginar, es una producción cristiana del género dramático y de origen estadounidense; la misma se encuentra basada en la canción de MercyMe, el sencillo cristiano más vendido en todos los tiempos. La película se centra en la vida de Bart Millard quien a pocos años de edad fue abandonado por su madre porque ya no aguantaba los maltratos de su padre, este niño también fue maltratado física y verbalmente por su padre haciéndolo un niño muy resentido. Sin embargo, cuando su madre se fue, lo dejo en un campamento de una semana en la iglesia, por lo que comenzó a escuchar acerca de Dios desde muy pequeño.

La segunda enseñanza es hacia los padres, y el daño tan grande que le hacen a los hijos cuando existe un maltrato físico y psicológico, además de todas las inseguridades que esto acarrea.

Justo en el momento cuando Bart se entera que su padre estaba enfermo, él estaba lleno de resentimiento y estuvo a punto de irse lejos, ero gracias a Dios su moto no encendió por lo que tuvo que ir a la camioneta de su padre; y es propicio hacernos una pregunta ¿Cómo fuese quedado el corazón de Bart si nunca se fuese enterado de la enfermedad de su padre? Creo que se fuese sentido muy mal, con culpa, y es justo allí donde radica la importancia del perdón, porque tenemos los días contados en esta tierra como para perderlos con odio y resentimiento. Al final de la película, Bart se siente mal porque disfruto muy poco de ese amigo que era su padre.
