Llegó el mes de diciembre, el último mes del año y también el mes de la navidad donde celebramos el nacimiento de Jesús. Es por ello, que para todo lo que queda restante de este año voy a tratar de hablar acerca de películas navideñas, dándole recomendaciones o simplemente siendo honesta con respecto a lo malas o aburridas que pueden ser otras, de modo que ustedes decidan si la ven o no, aunque hay que acotar que cada quien tiene sus propios gustos en cuanto películas y series se trata.

El día de hoy comienzo hablando acerca de una nueva película de la plataforma de streaming NETFLIX, se trata de una comedia romántica navideña de origen estadounidense estrenada en el año 2025, protagonizada por Olivia Holt y Connor Swindells. Esta producción se encuentra centrada en la vida de Sophia y Nick, ella es una muchacha que trabaja en un centro comercial y tiene a su mamá enferma internada en un hospital, pero también le gusta hurtar carteras y la verdad es que se le da muy bien.
Por otra parte, está Nick quien recién salió de prisión tiene una hija a quien solo ve por ratos ya que no tiene un lugar propio donde vivir, trabaja en una tienda de equipos electrónicos. Nick conoce a Sophia porque el tiene intervenido el circuito de cámaras del centro comercial, él nota una actitud algo extraña en Sophia ya que ella entró a dejar un collar para perros muy hermoso pero cuando entra al lugar donde se almacenan las cosas perdidas ella toma dinero de una cartera y de queda fijamente mirando una gran cantidad de joyas.

Cuando Nick ve esa escena en su computadora inmediatamente ve en ella una aliada para hacer un gran robo, entonces se acerca y le deja un pendrive con la escena de ella robando el dinero conjuntamente con una hora y un lugar donde verse. Cuando Sophia llega al sitio él le propone hacer un gran robo, es decir, robarse todas las joyas que habían en ese lugar, al principio ella le dice que no, sin embargo, la situación de la mamá de Sophia empeora cada día y ella necesita una intervención que cuesta muchísimo dinero.

What they didn't imagine is that along the way they would find another ally, which would cause them to change their plan from robbery to a trap for the billionaire owner of the shopping center.

Ahora bien, en realidad la película es aburrida, nunca había jugado tanto ludo al momento de ver una película, ya con eso pueden sacar conclusiones. Sinceramente no la recomiendo, sin embargo los gustos por las películas y series son muy variados. Para ser catalogada como una comedia romántica no tiene nada de cómico, creo que cae más bien en lo tonto. Hay escenas que se ven súper falsas y otras que son súper tontas.
Creo que el género de la película no está bien definido, a veces es romance, quiere ser cómica Pero también quiere presentar acción Pero una acción muy mala, es muy larga y en realidad pueden reducir su trama en media hora. Sinceramente nunca había visto una película que me causara tanto fastidio.

I honestly don't recommend it, but tastes in movies and series vary greatly. To be classified as a romantic comedy, it's not funny at all. I think it's more silly than anything else. Some scenes look super fake and others are super silly.
I don't think the genre of the movie is well defined. Sometimes it's romance, sometimes it wants to be funny, but it also wants to have action. However, the action is very bad. It's very long, and they could actually reduce the plot by half an hour. Honestly, I've never seen a movie that annoyed me so much.
