Estoy de nuevo por acá compartiendo con ustedes mi opinión sobre una película. En esta ocasión quiero hablarles de una producción que ya tiene sus años, Pero la cual considero un clásico, es una de mis películas favoritas y en ella trabajan excelentes actores en la cual debo resaltar a Lindsay Lohan de quién admiro mucho su trabajo y de la cual debo confesar estoy muy contenta que se haya recuperado de su adicción y este de nuevo explotando su talento.
I'm back here again to share my opinion about a movie with you. This time, I want to talk about a production that is already quite old, but which I consider a classic. It's one of my favorite movies, and it features excellent actors, among whom I must highlight Lindsay Lohan, whose work I greatly admire. La película de la cual hablaremos hoy es Chicas Pesadas, una producción estadounidense estrenada en el 2004 su trama está centrada en la comedia y el drama adolescente. La misma está protagonizada por Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried y Lacey Chabert; la misma fue distribuida por Paramount Studios y actualmente se puede disfrutar por plataformas de streaming como Netflix y Apple tv.
Chicas pesadas comienza con la historia de Cady Heron una chica de 16 años que fue educada en casa durante toda su vida, pero debido a que su mamá encuentra un trabajo nuevo se mudan a Estados Unidos desde África. Cuando Cady llega a la preparatoria le cuesta socializar debido a que nunca ha estado en una escuela, para el segundo día se hace amiga de Janis y Damien, una chica gótica y un gay. Ellos la actualizan un poco sobre la vida en una preparatoria, dónde sentarse en la cafetería y también le hablan sobre las plásticas, un grupo de tres chicas liderado por Regina George y sus dos amigas Gretchen Wieners y Karen Smith.
The movie we're going to talk about today is Mean Girls, an American production released in 2004. Its plot focuses on comedy and teenage drama. Mean Girls begins with the story of Cady Heron, a 16-year-old girl who was homeschooled her entire life, but because her mother finds a new job, they move to the United States from Africa. When Cady arrives at high school, she has trouble socializing because she has never been to school before. On her second day, she befriends Janis and Damien, a goth girl and a gay boy. They give her a little update on high school life, where to sit in the cafeteria, and also tell her about the Plastics, a group of three girls led by Regina George and her two friends Gretchen Wieners and Karen Smith.

Durante el almuerzo Cady llama la atención de Regina quien la invita a sentarse junto a ellas, a su vez la invitan a ser parte del grupo. Cuando Janis se entera de eso, se le ocurre la idea de que Cady sea como una espía y le cuente todo lo que hace y dice Regina. Al principio a Cady no le gusto, pero cuando Regina la traiciona volviendo con Aaron Samuels si se decidió a vengarse de Regina e idearon un plan para que su noviazgo con Aaron Samuels terminará, subiera de peso y sus amigas se pusieran en su contra.
During lunch, Cady catches Regina's attention, who invites her to sit with them and join the group. When Janis finds out, she comes up with the idea of Cady acting as a spy and telling her everything Regina does and says. Ahora bien, creo que es momento de realizar la pregunta ¿Quién de nosotras no ha soñado con ser Regina George? Creo que las mujeres que han visto esta película en algún momento de la vida hemos querido ser como Regina George, una mujer segura de sí misma, glamorosa, popular e inteligente. Regina era capaz de colocar la situación a su favor, sabía cómo manipular a la perfección a quienes la rodeaban para que terminarán haciendo lo que ella quería.
Now, I think it's time to ask the question: Rho among us hasn't dreamed of being Regina George? I think that women who have seen this movie at some point in their lives have wanted to be like Regina George, a confident, glamorous, popular, and intelligent woman. Regina was able to turn the situation to her advantage; she knew how to perfectly manipulate those around her so that they would end up doing what she wanted.

Con respecto a mi opinión sobre esta película, siento que es un clásico, que nunca pasa de moda y que no importa cuántas veces la hayas visto siempre quieres volver a verla y se disfruta cómo si fuese la primera vez. Es una trama interesante, donde podemos ver la importancia de saber relacionarse, Cady inexperta con la socialización desde el primer momento quiso encajar y por ello se dejó manipular primero de Janis y luego de Regina.
As for my opinion of this film, I feel it is a classic that never goes out of style. No matter how many times you've seen it, you always want to watch it again and enjoy it as if it were the first time. It has an interesting plot, where we can see the importance of knowing how to relate to others. Cady, inexperienced with socializing from the outset, wanted to fit in and therefore allowed herself to be manipulated first by Janis and then by Regina.

Por otra parte, Regina con serios problemas de superioridad, sin nada de empatía y quien no conocía límites porque sus padres nunca se los colocaron se creía con él derecho de tratar a la gente como quisiera. Sus amigas Gretchen y Karen también eran personas manipulables, sin criterio propio, cuyas vidas giraban en torno a Regina y ella las trataba como le daba la gana. Creo que la película tiene muchas cosas que aportar, así que sin duda alguna la recomiendo, porque también tiene su parte entretenida.
On the other hand, Regina had serious superiority issues, lacked empathy, and knew no boundaries because her parents never set any for her. She believed she had the right to treat people however she wanted. Her friends Gretchen and Karen were also easily manipulated, lacked their own judgment, and revolved around Regina, who treated them however she pleased. I think the film has a lot to offer, so I definitely recommend it, because it's also entertaining.

Todas hemos querido tener el estatus o jerarquía dentro de nuestros grupos de amistades, pero eso hay que canalizarlo muy bien, para no abusar de las personas que tenemos al lado.

Amo esta pelicula es una de mis confort movies sin duda, te recomiendo mucho la nueva versión que salió en Netflix en esta ocasión es un musical pero las canciones le agregan una cama extra muy buena a la pelicula!
