Estelita del Llano and Daniel Jiménez, who honoured the memory of famous TV host and producer Reinaldo José Ottolina Pinto, better known as Renny, with their presentation.

Renny was the first independent producer that our country had, an indisputable icon of radio and TV in Venezuela. In the decade of the 1960s, the popular evening show "Renny’s Show" began, evolving in 1965 to be called "Renny’s here", a stellar musical program broadcast on Sundays that became the first local program exported to other countries, presenting various international artists and noted for the grace and speed with which Renny recommended products that led to immediate popularity. Unfortunately, on March 16, 1978, he died as a result of a plane crash at Naiguatá peak.

The live show that I managed to enjoy last Friday 03/18/2022 allowed me getting to know more closely this man who dedicated his life to the show, in addition to being able to coincide in the same place with the Venezuelan actress and singer Estelita del Llano, a valuable lady and much talented artist. I am delighted with the staging that brought the host to life in a moving way, highlighting the most relevant aspects of his life and culminating in a musical present.
