GOLDEN : KPOP DEMON HUNTERS

Most Korean movies have been doing a great job in producing movies that has in-depth narrative and they have been a great success over the years. The recent trend in the movie industry is the introduction of the animation movie titled "K-pop demon Hunters" .

Personally, I am not really a fan of musical movies but somehow this songs and the lyrics used in the movie were deep, strong and powerful hence it had a way of connecting to me as an audience.

Take for instance, the music 'golden' is one that I can clearly sing off my head because it's sounds Powerful, endearing, it inspires and gives hope to people who are experiencing a breakdown in life.

No doubt, K-pop demon Hunters was a success as it captured the heart of it's audiences. The entirety of the movie is entertaining and it had a means of connecting with people's emotions. The movie employed great visual Style and the use of music was a means to communicate the struggles of Man, defeat fear identity and success was actually dramatic.

However, my Focus for the purpose of this blog is on the lyrics of the song titled golden, from my personal observation it is a song that holds power by the rhythm and energy from the artists.

I was a ghost, I was alone

From the movie and the storyline entirely where free girls were brought up in a lifestyle that was meant to save their country from evil but encountered difficulties and set backs. Based on the first line of the song it's one that suggests that a person has been living in denial instead of accepting their true self but they serve isolated themselves. This is evidence in the way roomie who was part demon and part to human but heed away from her through being because you thought she would be able to escape from eating the future. Okay

I'm done hidin', now I'm shinin' like I'm born to be
We dreamin' hard, we came so far, now I believe

Subsequently, we see that after a while she decided to embrace ourselves for who she was by saying she's done hiding now she shining like she was born to be. These goes to show that she had reached a Turning Point in a life where she feels more worthy than how she had turned herself what less just because of our condition. It was a great turning point in her life and it reflected in the realization that she is strong and pushed herself to make sure that things got back to normal and she was able to accomplish all she had worked hard for.

The song was beautifully crafted to reflect the entire essence of being golden, just like the lyrics stated they avoided the use of 'I' to reflect personal struggles but used 'WE' to express unity and strength in being a group that fought together. This goes to show that the bond between the Huntrix Girls were strong and in everything they did nothing could separate them as they were fighting together for a greater good. In other words, it goes to show that the cherish their friendship and sisterhood.

The animated movie made use of great visuals employing music which made it fun and dramatic.
