GREEDINESS : A BRIEF REVIEW OF THE MOVIE "DEATH OF A UNICORN"

Human beings always have an excuse for every negative actions they take, somehow they tend to have a story to tell for being greedy, selfish, wicked and heartless. It is becoming frustrating how people perform such acts without thinking about the effect it would have on them and the people around them. For some reasons, parents are beginning to engage in greedy activities all in the name of giving their child or children a better life hence, they partake in activities that would Tamper or destruct another person's livelihood just to make their home better. Just as we see our politicians do, all they aim for is to gain more power regardless of who gets hurt in the process.

These people will take and take to the extent that the masses suffer Losses why do rich becomes richer and tramples on the poor. This is fast becoming a norm in third world countries where the economy of the nation is suffering and the government and leaders are doing nothing to help the Citizens of the country live a better life. In other words, people have because greedy hence, my choice for this new movie that was just released in 2025 titled the "death of a unicorn" it is a good example to portray how greediness and selfishness amounts to destruction.

Brief summary of "death of a unicorn" movie

Simply put, the movie is about a father who is a lawyer and his teenage daughter who are traveling to a ranch to meet his billionaire boss for business purposes but unfortunately along the road they collided with a baby unicorn. The father killed the Unicorn and carried it over to his boss's Ranch but on getting there they discovered that it had curative powers. They became greedy in other to become richer by scientifically analyzing its healing powers but this got out of hands as the parents of the baby unicorn killed almost everyone involved.

The general lesson from this movie is the fact that greed is one dominant vice that is common amongst humans regardless of their status and again the love or Bond between parents and their children if not genuine can be broken and irreparable. Take for instance, the billionaire boss who was sick but because of the curative power of the Dead unicorn the lawyer brought with him he used this means to cure himself. Instead of giving back to the society through charity for cancer patients or people with diseases that cannot be cured to experience healing, he prioritized the rich who would pay more to get the dose but unfortunately it did not end well as the parents of the Dead unicorns took their revenge on the family.

As we can see people only want the good stuffs for themselves and their families but they sell them at exorbitant prices to people who can afford them and trampled on the poor who cannot afford it.

In conclusion, there is always a consequence for too much greed because it would make you do the Unthinkable and get your hands dirty to the extent that every actions taken would be regrettable and they would backfire at those involved.
