I have been watching some movies recently both local and International and it has become a habit of seeing the extent mother would go to protect their children and fight for them in times of danger. Based on two movies I watched which are "his&hers" and "runaway" we see how mothers get to find out about their daughters escapades and how they were molested and used by friends.

These movies portray that a mother's love goes beyond just physical but it a love that can not be quantified. It's a love that would go to an extent that is unthinkable and can match any type of energy. From what we saw in these movies and even in reality, our mothers have always been our strong pillar, every child seem to have an endearing emotional connection with their mums that cannot be explained.

In the movies, there was an intense use of suspense that described the kind of lives these characters lived that is defining their future. For instance, in the movie, runaway, it was about a young girl who ran away from home with the thought she went away to her boyfriend but apparently it was her half brother.

However, this guy would always want to keep her beside him by always influencing her drugs. Whenever she tries to be clean and go to rehab, he would find a way to inject more into her system hence destroying her life. At a point we saw that the boy was violently killed and during the investigation all fingers pointed at the father, then to girl and some other people. No one really suspected the mother because she had a good alibi.

But in the end, we got to find out that it was the mother who was furious at the way the boy destroyed her daughter's life sorted out means to put him away because that was the only way for it to end.

In all, we get to see that there are different ways mother's show love, it could be soft and it could be violent.
