MOVIE REVIEW :MERCY 2026

I watched the trending movie titled mercy yesterday and it clearly pointed to the fact that aI can be wrong sometimes in the way the handle matters. From the movie it shows the of the artificial intelligence in dealing with human situations.

This is why often times as students or or career people we should not fully depend on AI to solve our problems. Why the the Society in this movie thought that the use of AI will bring about Justice and fairness in the system it accused people of things that they did not do and punish them unjustly.

A brief summary of the movie is about a man who is a detective but found himself in the court that he fully supported and created that AI should handle matters that involved criminals and deliver Justice immediately. It was gathered that the society has been a rumbles for a while and criminal activities was at 100% but when AI took over and started a blowing Justice criminal rate dropped to 60%.

However reverse was the case when the main advocate and support our of the projects found himself in the courtroom where the AI judge was to save Justice. Apparently it was gathered that he murdered his wife because he was strong.

The only thing that saved him was the fact that he was able to play by gathering information and investigate is case that made him discover that the AI was wrong in concluding that he was the corporate while in Action sense it was another person who had a grudge with the system 2 years ago. Apparently they killed his brother justly because it was gathered that he was a murderer while he was not.

This was due to the fact that one of the corrupt detective was trying to prove that the system was perfect but dealing with crimes hands he implicated the man that died 2 years ago.

In conclusion, the reliance on AI by people can be dangerous at times as it lacks compassion and human feelings to actually work around human beings. In essence, aI cannot totally be trusted because it can be used oh manipulated to suit a person or a governments interest.
