MOVIE REVIEW : THE FIRST RIDE

I watched the movie the first ride which was produced in 2025 it is a Korean movie acted by prominent and popular actors like Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eun-woo and Han Sun-hwa. Although it is not my favorite movie but it was quite interesting and we got to see the lives of four friends who chose themselves because nobody wanted to roll with them.

A brief synopsis of the movie is about four friends who did virtually everything together they loved and cared for each other at least that was what were meant to believe in the first instance.

However with the use of the technique called suspense we got to find out that the end of the movie that while they were going for their first trip as friends they encountered and accident on the way which claimed the life of one of them.

Also in the course of the movie we see that one of the boys was mentally ill and had to be in and out of the hospital for several times. Later we go to find out that he became mentally deranged because during the cause of the accident that claimed the life of their friend he pushed his friend's hands away and try to rescue himself. These affected him mentally.

One thing that strikes me in the movie is the fact that friendship is priceless no matter how life changes through friends stays. This is why they say we should not joke without childhood friends because they tend to be real. In other words, long-term friendships cannot be broken no matter the challenges faced, be distance struggles or adulthood.
