Good morning everyone,

I'm not so much of a fan of Indian movies but I'm so glad my sister made me watch RRR few weeks ago. It turned out to be the best Indian movies ever, infact I'm correct to say it's better than some Hollywood movies. There is something special and captivating about this movie in such a way that once you start watching you get glued to the screen and hypnotized. As I go on in this post, you will know why.

THE PLOT

The movie features a retro time in India when the British colonized their country. The first scene shows a young village indian girl drawing a tattoo on the hand of a white woman. The white woman got so pleased with the tattoo that she decided she's going to keep(kidnap) the girl. She convinced her husband who in turn paid the parents of the girl to release her. The poor parents couldn't understand their language and thought the payment was for the tattoo the little girl drew on the white woman's hand. Unfortunately for them, the girl was kidnapped right in front of their eyes and the whole village. They were unable to do anything about it because the man is a General and there were lot of soldiers around. Though the girl's mother tried to stop them but was injured by the soldiers who won't even use a bullet on her. The Captain happens to value the bullet more over the life of an Indian.

In another scene, we got familiar with a young Indian police man whose name is Rama Raju. He is an exceptional policeman who will go to any length to prove his worth. He was able to gain the respect of his boss by arresting a man from a thousand mobs that were protesting in front of their station.

Meanwhile a plea was made to the white government to release the young girl by an Indian minister and he was sure to add that the Village has a man who acts like a protector and will go to any length to secure the freedom of the little girl. Unfortunately they took that as a threat and issued a decree that the man should be found and arrested. They even said whoever succeed in arresting the man alive will be promoted to a special rank. Upon hearing this, Raju voiced out and promise to arrest the man.

Finally we were introduced to Bheem who happens to be the protector the minister was referring too. Bheem is a strong and powerful man and I am so pleased to watch the scene where he captured a tiger(I must say, that scene was epic). He later went to the city in search for the little girl and along the line, He met Raju (when they both saved a little boy from burning). This shared experience created a friendship between them that became very powerful. They both loved each other dearly and helped each other even through death.

Unfortunately Raju later learnt of Bheem's identity and betrayed him by arresting him just before he was able to rescue the little girl. Bheem was made to pass through series of horrible punishments and Raju was promoted.

Later on, the story of Raju was told. He had a mission for wanting to be promoted so badly. It happens that he lost his father and he promised his villagers to secure every man with a weapon(guns) in order to fight for their freedom. This made it so painful for him that Bheem was in the way and he had to take a very difficult decision to betray him. Even though he was promoted, he couldn't live with himself and he rescued Bheem by sacrificing himself to be arrested.

Bheem later escaped with the girl, located Raju's village by accident, found out why he did what he did and went back to rescue him. Together they fought their colonizers and destroyed their arms(weapon) house. Before it got detroyed, Bheem took out a batch of guns which was enough to equip Raju's village men thus helping Raju fulfill his promise.

REVIEW AND RATINGS

The main reason why I'm not a huge fan of Indian movies is because of their unrealistic super stunts but I must say that is exactly what got me glued to the screen in this movie. The stunts are so cool and addictive to watch. The way they executed each stunt scene it was excellent. Even though I knew they weren't realistic in real life, it was so fun to watch. Talk of the way Raju went into the mob and singlehandedly arrested one man from thousands of people who were beating him. I mean how is that even possible? Then go to the way Bheem used his strength to capture the Tiger. The way Bheem and Raju rescued the young boy with trains of fire around them is just breathtaking.

The cinematography is another thing to look at. The movie is just so beautiful. Bright and clean colors and the sharp view they gave is just exceptional. RRR is a movie that you will want to watch by just looking at a scene on the screen.

The storyline of this movie is another amazing thing about this movie. It shows the powerful bond of friendship. How two complete strangers come together to form a bond that is thick like blood if not thicker. I even wish I'm able to find that kind of friendship in someone in future

I also admire the way they wrote the storyline around real Indian heros. The names they used are actually people that fought for the freedom of indians.

In all I will give the movie a 10/10 ratings. It just happen to check all the necessary boxes of a good movie if not more.

If you haven't seen this movie, I will strongly advise you to.
