Many commentators and regular gamers are criticizing the actions and statements of the new Xbox CEO. To be honest, yes. It's clear the woman is a bit out of our world, and at best, her power level is on par with my own woman (my other half has known games since the days of MS-Dos; if I threw her alone in the capital of a country full of gamers, she'd manage somehow). But sometimes you need a broom like that, and women are great for that (as long as they're organized or have people to help them – Sharma's actions have mostly been sensible and consistent so far; it's clear she has a plan). They more often and ruthlessly implement the will of corporations or cut off what's unnecessary.
Sometimes you have to cut off your own arm to keep the rest of your body alive. Within a few months, Sharma did what many Fallout fans longed for – handing over the rights to the game's development to Obsidian and developing their vision. I don't know what the conversation with Howard went like, but browsing through game forums, comments under YouTube videos, and listening to his podcasts/vlogs, I'm not the only one who thinks Sharma slammed him like a dirty bitch from top to bottom. "Howard, tell me how the fuck it is that we have such large, evergreen brands that don't earn us what they should...? What are you doing standing there? Get the fuck out of work!" As for employee layoffs, unfortunately, she's doing what the previous management tried to slow down as much as possible. Given the choice between a slow decline and a quick severance of the financial umbilical cord, I prefer the latter. It hurts once and you have a clear picture, instead of sitting at work for a year, developing depression or stomach ulcers from stress.
Asha may not be a gamer, but she accurately noticed what many in high places failed to notice (or were unwilling... Or afraid to do anything) – we have a huge player base, many joined us, and we didn't make them stay long. Xbox literally rejected players, to put it mildly. Sharma's vision may be basic, like a bare sword you can pick up anywhere in an RPG, but even a basic vision is much better than no vision at all. After he clears the situation, at least there will be something to build on.

Wielu komentatorów i zwykłych graczy krytykuje dzialania i wypowiedzi nowej szefowej Xbox. Jeśli mam być szczery, to tak. Widać że kobieta jest trochę spoza naszego świata i w najlepszym razie, jej power level jest na poziomie mojej kobiety (moja druga połówka zna gry od czasów MS-Dos, gdybym wyrzucił ją samotnie w stolicy państwa pełnego graczy, jakoś by sobie poradziła). Tylko że czasem potrzebna jest taka miotła, a kobiety świetnie się do tego nadają (o ile ogarniają lub mają od tego ludzi - działania Sharmy w większości są póki co sensowne i konsekwentne, widać że ma plan). Częściej i bezwzględniej realizują wolę korporacji lub ucinają to, co zbędne.
Czasem trzeba odciąć sobie rękę, by przetrwała reszta ciała. Sharma w ciągu kilku miesięcy zrobiła to, czego pragnęło wielu fanów Fallouta - oddania praw do tworzenia gry Obsidianowi i rozwijanie ich wizji. Nie wiem, jak wyglądała rozmowa z Howardem, ale przeglądając fora dla graczy, komentarze pod filmami na YT, słuchając wypowiedzi w podcastach / vlogach, nie tylko mnie się wydaje, że Sharma opieprzyła go jak burą sukę z góry na dół. "Ty Howard, powiedz mi jak to kurwa jest, że mamy takie duże, wieczne ever-green marki, które nie zarabiają nam tyle ile powinny...? No, co tak stoisz? Wypierdalaj do pracy!". Co do zwolnień pracowników, no tu niestety robi to, co poprzednie szefostwo starało się w miarę możliwości spowalniać. Mając do wyboru powolne dogorywanie, a szybkie odcięcie od finansowej pępowiny, wolę to drugie rozwiązanie. Boli raz i masz jasną sytuację, a nie siedzisz przez rok w pracy, nabawiając się przy tym depresji lub wrzodów żołądka ze stresu.
Może i Asha jest spoza grona graczy, ale trafnie zauważyła to czego wielu na wysokich stołkach nie dostrzegło (lub nie chcieli... Albo bali się coś zrobić) - mamy potężną bazę graczy, wielu do nas przyszło, a my nie spowodowaliśmy by zostali z nami na dłużej. Xbox dosłownie odrzucał graczy, by nie używać dosadniejszych określeń. Może i wizja Sharmy jest bazowa, jak zwyczajny, "goły" miecz który możemy podnieść w dowolnym miejscu w grze RPG, ale nawet bazowa wizja jest znacznie lepsza niż jej brak. Po tym jak oczyści sytuację, to przynajmniej będzie na czym budować resztę.
