[K-Pop Demon Hunters]
I admit, I didn't believe this film would be successful. K-pop is often listened to by little girls and teenagers (I'll answer right away – boys, since they're human too, also listen to bands that the rest of us associate with cringe). I associate it with colorful, overly emaciated, and effeminate singers. The animation itself also looked like something out of TikTok and AI, but it turns out the film is being praised by all age groups – from children to 30-year-olds like my generation, and even older people are raving. Just like Highschool Musical 1 back in the day. I'm guessing it has a similar vibe. That's why I'm not surprised they're planning a sequel. I wish them luck, millions of dollars in profit, and more projects.

[Narnia]
Filming finally begins in September on the next Narnia film. Netflix has high ambitions for this film – a strong cast, a large budget, a talented director, and a partnership with IMAX. Some might say that Greta Gerwig is unsuitable because of her leftist views. This is patently absurd. I've seen her in Lady Bird and Barbie, and yes, she has her own opinions, but she also has an open mind. Above all, she's a good director who knows how to play with the possibilities offered by the magic of the screen and how to present it all. I believe in her and hope I won't be disappointed, because I like Narnia.

Przyznaję, nie wierzyłem w sukces tego filmu. K-Pop często słuchają małe dziewczynki i nastolatki (od razu odpowiem - chłopcy jako że też są ludźmi, też słuchają zespołów, które kojarzą się cringe'owo dla reszty), kojarzy mi się z kolorowymi, nadmiernie wychudzonymi i zniewieściałymi piosenkarzami. Sama animacja też wyglądała jak coś, co było bękartem TikToka i AI, a tu się okazało że film jest chwalony przez wszystkie grupy - od dzieci, po 30-latków jak moje pokolenie, a nawet starsi chwalą. Tak jak swego czasu... Highschool Musical 1. Zgaduję, że to podobny vibe. Dlatego nie dziwię się, że planują sequel. Zyczę powodzenia, milionów dolarów zysku i kolejnych projektów.

We wrześniu nareszcie ruszają zdjęcia do kolejnego filmu Narnii. Netflix wiąże z tym filmem wysokie ambicje - dobra obsada, duży budżet, utalentowana reżyserka, współpraca z IMAX. Niektórzy mogą powiedzieć, że Greta Gerwig nie nadaje się z uwagi na swoje lewicowe poglądy. Jest to oczywista bzdura. Widziałem jej Lady Bird, Barbie i tak, ma swoje poglądy, ale ma jednocześnie otwarty umysł. A przede wszystkim, jest dobrą reżyserką, która wie jak się bawić możliwościami, które daje magia ekranu i jak to wszystko pokazać. Wierzę w nią i mam nadzieję, że się nie rozczaruję, bo lubię Narnię.
