I invite you to another review. Civil War grossed $71.5 million. The creators still haven't got their money back, but the reviews are very good, and so are the viewers' opinions, so it should probably be good in this matter. Godzilla x Kong is closing in on $520 million. Dune 2 doesn't have to come close to anything anymore. I admit, for some time I doubted whether they would reach 700 million (even though I said at the beginning that there should be no problems). Well, that's great. I haven't seen the movie yet, but apparently it's very good. Even my colleagues, fans of the book, did not complain about the changes compared to the original or the quality of the film itself. Monkey Man is approaching 32 million. Kung Fu Panda 4 is doing very well, $503.5 million. The Spy x Family anime film grossed just over $54 million. So let's start with the losers/films that could have earned more. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, with a budget of $60 million, has so far earned $16 million. The film won't make money + it looks like Cavill is not as big a name as I thought. This is his next film/series that goes unnoticed. The new Ghostbusters hits $188 million and we probably won't see a sequel. And finally, two failed horror movies. The First Omen earned 50 million on a budget of 30 million. It will probably make money, but not much (small promotional campaign, low budget). At this point, Abigail has earned as much money as she cost - 28 million. It will probably be a financial failure.

[Deadpool 3]
We got a trailer for part 3. I watched it and... Well, the scene with the claws stuck straight into the crotch was great XD, as well as some scenes and ideas (Charles Xavier's "sister" as an opponent, nice!), but the announcement itself did not make a big impression on me. I'll watch the movie anyway, because it promises to be the best Deadpool experience so far.

The famous comedian Jerry Seinfeld spoke very critically about contemporary cinema. He thinks this business is over. Well, I don't agree with him. Yes, I thought that cinemas were ending, but it's not that bad yet. As the Boxoffice results that I discuss every week show, people still want to go to the cinema and spend their money there. Yes, you can now watch blockbusters at home (if you have equipment worth, say, PLN 7,000), which will give us an almost cinematic experience, as well as smaller films (or those with poor special effects - greetings to Disney, or Marvel, or also Disney) people are more willing to watch on streaming. Nevertheless, people still want to go to the cinema for the big ones. I think there will be a little less cinemas, Imax will not expand its influence, cheap stuff will still go to streaming, just like C movies used to be on VHS and then DVD, but theatrical films will still remain. At least in our generation. It got into our blood too much.

W sieci pojawił się rzekomy trailer nowego Jamesa Bonda. Polecam uważać, bo o tym filmie krąży mnóstwo plotek. Wiele stron i fanpage'ów którym zależy tylko na ruchu i klikaniu, okłamują swoich widzów różnymi kłamstwami. Wiem bo akurat temat Bonda śledzę i wiem (przynajmniej częściowo) jakie informacje są prawdziwe, a jakie nie. Generalnie uważajcie na WSZYSTKIE newsy i jak jakiś brzmi nieprawdopodobnie, to proście o źródło. Renomowane strony raczej nie będą Was okłamywać.

Film nie zarobi + wygląda na to, że Cavill nie jest takim głośnym nazwiskiem jak myślałem. To jego kolejny film / serial, który przechodzi bez echa. Dostaliśmy trailer 3 części. Obejrzałem go i... No scena z wbiciem pazurów prosto w krocze była mega XD, Tak samo niektóre sceny i pomysły ("siostra" Charlesa Xaviera jako przeciwnik, nice!), ale sama zapowiedź nie zrobiła na mnie dużego wrażenia. Film tak czy siak obejrzę, bo zapowiada się najlepsza zabawa z Deadpoolem póki co.

Znany komik Jerry Seinfeld, wypowiedział się bardzo krytycznie o współczesnym kinie. Uważa że ten biznes jest skończony. Cóż, nie zgadzam się z nim. Tak, sam myślałem że kina się kończą, ale nie jest jeszcze aż tak źle. Jak pokazują wyniki Boxoffice, które omawiam co tydzień, ludzie nadal chcą chodzić do kina i zostawiać tam swoje pieniądze. Tak, można już obejrzeć blockbustery w domowych warunkach (jak ma się sprzęt o wartości powiedzmy 7 tysięcy PLN), które dadzą nam prawie kinowe wrażenia i te mniejsze filmy (lub te mające słabe efekty specjalne - pozdrawiam Disney, czy Marvel, czyli też Disney) ludzie chętniej oglądają na streamingu. Niemniej na te duże ludzie nadal chcą chodzić do kina. Wydaje mi się, że będzie trochę mniej kin, Imax nie będzie rozszerzał swoich wpływów, tanie rzeczy nadal będą szły na streaming, tak jak dawniej filmy klasy C na VHS, a potem DVD, ale filmy kinowe nadal pozostaną. Przynajmniej jeszcze w naszym pokoleniu. Zbyt mocno weszło nam to w krew.
