I really like the creators' approach. Old stories should be locked away and not touched, and if you want to make changes, you can always experiment with new series. Star Wars is a perfect example of why it often ends up as a disaster.
However, I don't like Netflix's approach. I mean, I like it as a customer, but if I were them, I would air the series in theaters first. Why? Primarily, because they can. They've made decisions against common sense several times, and it's paid off (increasing streaming prices, buying cartoons like K-Pop Demon Hunters—NOBODY expected anything from that film). And luck is an important and useful trait, despite what people who deny its existence and importance say. You can't lose in this situation. People will go to theaters anyway and forget about it, because they'll watch it on Netflix later. There's money lying around; you just have to reach for it.

Bardzo mi się podoba podejście twórców. Stare historie powinny zostać zamknięte i nie ruszane, a jak chcecie wprowadzić jakieś zmiany, to zawsze możecie eksperymentować na nowych seriach. Star Wars jest idealnym przykładem, dlaczego często wychodzi z tego kupa.
Nie podoba mi się natomiast podejście Netflixa. W sensie podoba mi się jako klientowi, ale gdybym był na ich miejscu, wyemitowałbym serial najpierw w kinie. Czemu? Przede wszystkim, bo mogą. Już kilka razy podjęli decyzję wbrew zdrowemu rozsądkowi i opłaciło im się to (wzrost cen za streaming, kupowanie bajek typu KPop Demon Hunters - NIKT nie spodziewał się po tym filmie czegokolwiek). A szczęście to ważna i przydatna cecha, wbrew temu co mówią ludzie negujący jego istnienie i istotność. Na tej sytuacji nie da się przegrać. Ludzie i tak pójdą do kin i zapomną, bo potem obejrzą na Netflixie. Pieniądze leżą na ulicy, wystarczy się po nie schylić.
