Three big problems of the 4th phase of the MCU / Trzy duże problemy 4 fazy MCU

It's been a while since my recent text and the situation has changed a bit. It will not be a long text, because there is basically nothing to write about. It's not that the problem is bizarre, insignificant, or anything - it's just that the explanation is simple. Marvel is still making good money and is not yet feeling (clearly) the decline in popularity, but I think it's a matter of time. And to be clear - some of the viewers have certainly left, but due to Covid-19 and the development of streaming (more and more people think like me - why should we go to the cinema, when it will appear on the Internet in 2 months?) estimate it. and these factors are no less important. I am seeing more and more complaints from fans who are noticing what I already noticed when announcing the new strategy (i.e. combining movies with series) - there is just too much of it all. And here it is not even about the excess of content to watch, because although fans are slowly starting to complain that they do not have time and are oversaturated, many of them still eat this feed (and lest it is, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it) . The point is that if something is done massively, the creators do not pay attention to its quality. And this can be seen both in the scenarios and special effects.

Starting with this 1 - I often complain about Netflix or HBO series, but at least there is something interesting to watch (more or less, usually less). It is not something good (usually), but as a clutch of free time for the evening to calm down before work or as a "foundation" for a conversation with a girl and watching with one eye, it works ok. There is something funny, we have some drama, there is some action or an intriguing plot. On the other hand, the Marvel series ... In those we saw or started ("WandaVision", "She-Hulk", "Hawkeye") there were some interesting features, thanks to which we gave the next episodes a chance, but they were not engaging enough to interest us as a whole. Apart from WV, here the sitcom elements were very good, if not for this terrible finale and disgustingly boring middle, maybe we would have watched the whole thing. But there were simply too many boring or unsuccessful elements. Let me start with the fact that the series are unnecessarily so related to the movies. Ok, sometimes it is cool, it certainly also develops the world, but ... I don't know about you, but I had the impression that it limits the creativity of the creators a bit and forces different cameos. Also, in EVERY series that I started, it was obvious at some point that the script was written on the knee of a man with Parkinson's. Almost zero consistency, excess of totally unnecessary threads, instead of focusing on the main one, throwing in unnecessary characters by force (I feel like commenting on the new SW trilogy, lol), poorly shot action, special effects at the CW level. And most importantly, the characters don't go any way, and the show is literally fucking about nothing. Like such a feed for pigs that have to put a portion of their food into the bowl every day. I don't see any improvement from the launch of WV to SH and it's been a while now and the safety period is over. I understand that you had to implement and at the beginning it is different with the quality, but this is another series and you are still doing trash. That's why I'm not going to watch these series - polite, universal and flattened to the point of pain, so that everyone will understand it in the same way (which in the case of animated films I can understand, because it's a film for children), with a plot that tells about nothing. You can't even look at the effects or photos.

And when it comes to special effects, everyone can see what it is. The embarrassing quality of CGI is so bad that people even forget about their previous allegations against drones in the final fights (the point is that the fight with most opponents is the same - one enemy and a lot of drones, helpers, monsters, whatever). Additionally, the chaos (and darkened screen) in Act 3 of the movie is being used more and more to cover unfinished effects that were sent to Disney before the rendering process was completed (files are very, VERY long processed using enormous computing power). And since Disney isn't just producing high-budget special-effects movies and series, their schedules are tight. Not only that, apparently (the information comes from a certain source, but I did not confirm it in the second one) Marvel cannot write its requirements once, and then only add a correction if something changes during work. Instead, they send new guidelines every now and then, they want to add new ones, change others ... After all, they paid, and if they paid, they require it. It is also important that these professions are demanding and you have to study for a long time, we will not take 100 people from the street to help.

Of course, both of these phenomena are nothing new - Disney is not the first, and certainly not the last, company or corporation to drain its customers out of all their cash, creating medium-quality creations. Perhaps they will get under control in time and will not start to cannibalize their own success by spitting out even more content. As much as I enjoyed announcing the series, now I can see that it was an idiotic decision. Or otherwise, the idea was good, but they should limit themselves to 2 movies and 2 series per year and that would be too much IMO anyway. Nevertheless, at least it would have been able to keep the high level longer.

The text was written almost a month ago, but it sat in the waiting room for so long that there was another problem. I will not spend much time on it, because it is just lying in front of the public and banging fans in the bottom (to throw money out of your pockets for the ever-hungry Disney rat), characteristic of corporations and large companies for years. You can evaluate the re-casts in different ways, I don't have an opinion on this subject myself, but the longer I live, the more I am inclined to the fact that it is better to give a new actor a chance than to convince the old one to come back. Of course, if an actor is willing and able to return to his role (he is not too old, for example), then I prefer to see an old and familiar face, but not always what we want is better. The new actor gives you new opportunities and lets you knock out a new face that will keep us happy for years to come, just like the actors who co-created our childhood and teenage years. Unfortunately, they are leaving and you have to replace them, whether you want it or not. Nothing would have bothered me about Disney's approach were it not for their hideous hypocrisy. They say anything about respect for Chadwick Boseman and they take it from William Hurt? Because what, because it's an episodic role? On the other hand, I am "glad" that Disney is doing this, because more Marvel fans will understand that they are just a number in Excel, and it will be a few years before that changes (if at all, although I do not exclude this scenario). Maybe they'll lose some money.
