The Nigerian movie industry is a fully established one and for many years, our movies have stood out both in the national and international scene. It hasn't always been rosy though, as not everyone was impressed by Nollywood productions before now.

In recent times, there has been a shift in the production quality and more people who weren't interested before now have taken a liking to Nigerian movies. It is no longer un-cool to like Nigerian movies and even have favourites.
