What philophobia can do, "Heart Of A Lover," the review

Ever since i joined this community, i look up for an interesting and educative movie to review, so when my little friend visited us, i asked her, "do you watch movies, can you give a review of any good one you've seen? She said, aunty Adanne, I can't give a review but i promise you, you will love it my family have watched it it's interesting. Then i went straight away to download "Heart of a Lover". As she called it.

Love is a beautiful and good thing. Everyone wants it and when it happen to them, some people reciprocate while some don't because of various reasons. That's the case of the main character in this movie. It's so unfortunate how our past experiences can affect our present situation. The roled played by Lucia who is known as Sarian Martin who had philophobia. Which affected her various relationships.

This movie is about a Lucia who fell in love at first sight with Donald (John Ekanem) who didn't notice her. She promised herself that she was going everything possible to make the young man notice her and love her back, so she came up with a plan to apply for her leave since she works in a private firm as a marketer. She began stalking this Donald.

It got out of hand that Lucia had to stay up late just so she would celebrate Donald at 12:30 am as he celebrates his birthday. Unfortunately for her he came out and kicked her alongside the people she came with out from his compound, she went and restrategized on what next to do. So she made a poster of Donald pasting it in the estate where his living, with some write ups wishing him a happy birthday. This got the attention of him and his friend, that his friend advised him to giver her a chance to explain what she wants since it's been daily stalking for two weeks.

The next day she visited sitting at the entrance of his compound he welcomed her and allowed her entrance to his house. They had few minutes conversation and the young man decided to give them a chance. The went right inside the kitchen to make noddles to eat, thereafter the washed his car together. It was getting late and he offered to drop her which she accepted.

To follow up the relationship Donald came visiting the next day but this woman who had been all over him choking him denied knowing, on asking him to leave and he objected she poured a full bucket of water on him. This action prompted his leaving. Then her came advising her making her to see reasons she should check herself obviously that all is not as she treated the previous man she stalked before Donald same way but she paid no attention to her friend.

She had a good friend Preye who cared so much about her and wanted to help. So she went seeing Donald explain things to him, then they decided to go see a therapist on explaining everything thing to her, she gave them possible suggestions of what could be wrong with her, telling them it would be better if the could bring her along with them. It seems as an impossible mission but they had to give it a try first.

It was looked impossible at first so they had to use all the mechanism within their power to make sure she came along with and she finally did after all the whole drama and stress. So there then and she narrated what her mom went through in the hands of her father who claimed to love her and later was abandoned by him. She also narrated what she went through in the hands of the her previous relationships, one who couldn't protect her from the mom and the other was dating still dating her got another pregnant and married her because the mom said so, for this reasons she felt the others will treat her in same manner.

When she agreed with them that she had a problem, she pleaded with Preye and Donald to help her go through the section, they did and gradually she came to see a reasons to love and stay again.

In as much as she had philophobia, she didn't stop looking for love because of the fears rather she was determined to chase what want and when she did get it, she withdraws. Having a selfless friend also help her. She just around her trying to see survive in her difficult times. It's better we have that one good friend who tells us the truth than hundreds who would coat sugar things just so we could follow the wrong track.
