DC Universe Needs To Be Consistent
Dead pool three has already begun shooting for the film, and the film is scheduled to be released on the 3rd of May 2024 which is next year. Hugh Jackman has returned for one of his favourite roles as the Wolverine in this upcoming movie. Hugh Jackman's return as Wolverine in Deadpool Three will mark 23 years since the actor first took up the role in 2001.
This is what I love about Marvel Studios and the production team. Marvel Studios prefer to retain an actor or actress for a role no matter how old they are but as long as they are willing to play the role. Marvel hardly reboots their films or tv shows or brings up a new actor to play the role, and this has helped the studios in the film industry for a long time now.
DC Universe is my favourite studio. I believe you all know that by now, but they keep making mistakes and this has dragged the studios back in the film industry. Let's take a look at the current reboot project from DC Universe CEO James Gunn. James Gunn decided to part ways with Henry Cavill who played Superman in Man of Steel, Dawn of Justice and Justice League.
It was well-established that Henry Cavill was the best Superman cast to put on the cape, and fans wanted more from Henry Cavill as Superman. It got to the extent that Henry Cavill decided to drop off the role because he felt Warner Bros was wasting his time, but a lot of talks happened between Henry Cavill and Warner Bros and they came to an agreement which saw Henry Cavill announce he was returning as Superman once again, but plans got changed again when James Gunn took over and Henry Cavill this time said goodbye forever.
When fans heard Henry Cavill was no longer Superman it caused a lot of reactions on the Internet, and it affected the recent DC film The Flash. Some DC fans criticized the movie, while some were not eager to watch it because of Ezar Miller. As a result, the movie made 267 million dollars at the box office which was less because the budget to create the movie was 200- 220 million dollars.
Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot also will not return as Batman and Wonder Woman. These two are another vital loss for the studio, and I still don't understand why James Gunn is dropping them out of the new DC Universe project. I still think James Gunn will do an amazing job with DC, fans just have to give him time and I am sure he will deliver.
